What I noticed:
Switching between Angel and Demon weapons will be mapped the left and right buttons on the D-pad.
I'd like to know how that'll work...

like you said, they're done with the entire game; they're just tweaking the combat and whatnot.

They want to release a demo as soon as possible, but I can't see that happening for another few months at least. Like I said in my other thread, they're going to make it playable at E3. Here they said they want to make it playable at Gamescom too. A public demo may come out shortly after...

Now that they've released a demo they're comfortable with, they'll start taking more of the criticism to heart.

all good news!

I was at my local gamestop in Freiburg, Germany and asked the lady behind the counter, whether she could give me any infors about a release date. She looked it up and apparently, gamestop has the release date listed as the 12.07.12, so the game is supposed to come out in July!
However, she noted that this kind of info has to be taken with a grain of salt, since game releases are prone to changes.
I proposed to her the instant I saw her computer screen flash on the date.

No. Switching angel and demon weapons is done with the left and right bumper. Switching base weapons (like Rebellion) will be done with the d-pad. So every weapon has three forms. There are four buttons on the d-pad. That means there will be twelve weapons in the game.

I hoped so too.
But I'm quoting Tameem here:

[...]Additionally, as you gain new Angel and Demon weapons--'cause [Osiris and Arbiter are] not it, there'll be more--you can use the D-pad left and right to toggle between them...
