DmC Boss Fight (No Damage, No DT, SSS)

You must do a Hell and Hell walkthrough when the game is released xD

Mmmaybe... Hell and hell would be ridiculous in this game, unless they give you three gold orbs every level like in DMC4. Meaning you can only get hit three times... but that's still hard. I cannot even beat Underwatch (a not even fully version of the level) without getting hit at least once in SoS.

You'd have to watch out for those flyin babies!

Jesus, those things are so annoying in SoS man. You have to go for them first before you fight the rest of the enemies 'cus there is no way they will leave you combo in peace for a second... and they shoot two arrows.

yep i had a good SS combo goin then the baby went pew pew "no SSS for u!"

If you use prop-shredder it's actually quite easy to deflect those cherub arrows. And I sure hope Hell or Hell is tough. :) It seems the behavior of Dante and the enemies are more flexible in this game, so it will be a bit more interesting learning to avoid the onslaught.

Fight's a cakewalk, man. Stay back as far as You can on the platform, wait for her to do her long swipe which always causes her to fall, run over, mash Arbiter, rinse and repeat.

SSS, No Damage, No DT, 3 minutes.

Exactly what I did.

Aww, that's the cowards way of doing it.

She might, however, still hit you with that breath attack thing she does. I get hit by that quite often even if I am like 100 miles away from her, for some reason :/

You have to jump.

I had experimented with mixing it up with Rebellion's stinger, which also deals a great amount of damage. Poison appears to be a rather simplistic boss, with easy to abuse routines. Sort of like the Saviour in DMC 4, where a particular attack with Lucifer (forget its name, it's the one that causes giant spikes like Vergil's summoned swords to stick into the target, and explode a couple seconds later) could cause massive damage and boost Your rank exponentially.

Honestly, I find SoS Cherrups more difficult than SoS Poison.

^this

But yeah, Poison is not so bad once you figure out that you can heavily punish basically any move she does. She doesn't even have an attack where you go "oh yeah, you can't do anything there." Even when she is about to vomit, she still exposes her head for massive damage. Like, for example, Berial (a first boss) has no punishable moves... none. His moves are designed to take you out without exposing any weakness. It's not like he swings his sword, stumbles over, and lets you whack at his head.

After seeing this, I must train MORE. I want to be #1 on the top of the Leader board, on at least one game. AngelMode, you are one hell of a player, and I see you as my rival. I have to record my gameplay too when the game releases

lol Well, at least having a rival gives people a good reason to train more. And practice makes perfect.
