DmC 60 FPS on PC

'K thanks, I bet DMC2 ran at 59 FPS, oh burn!!!

Don't ask what compelled me to type that.

I'm pretty sure DmC2 ran at the frame rate of dull with a refresh ratio of frustration and the visual acuity of over simplified tedium.

What a bizarre typo. Surely a sequel to DmC would have none of those qualities. I shall flagellate in apology.

Even though I understand the hate on DMC2, there's still a strange extreme hate on the game like the hate with DmC. But not a lot of people mention the things DMC2 introduced like on-the-fly weapon switching (DMC2 did it with guns), a primitive version of Rainstorm that became badass in DMC3, wall-running that was kept in DMC3, a primitive version of Bloody Palace, and maybe a couple of other things. It just seems so blinded to hate DMC2 that much. Not that I'm saying everyone or anyone on these forums are like this, but y'know, as much as you hate something, there's possibly some good things from it.

You and me brother. Except my PC is from 2005 and it's an office PC. :(

Funny thing is my computer is a 2012 model Asus, which are made for the PC gamer in mindset, and it still isn't powerful enough.

But at least it lets me run the game on full graphic power and stable speed, so for that I'm grateful. :)

Did you buy a computer? I don't want to sound like an ass, but I'm probably going to. Buying computers usually isn't a good idea if you're gaming. You'd be better off building one. It's not that hard. Just youtube it or something.

With gaming laptops, there's not a lot of options, so you're probably going to have to buy one.

Oh, but thing is I didn't buy this computer for gaming, actually. I'm an animation student and the reason I bought this computer is because it had all the basic requirements needed for all the softwere that will be used through the entire career. My main use for my computer is for college work, including all the programs needed for animation. Gaming is a very secondary use. I'm not even a huge PC gamer to begin with, I'm more of a Nintnedo/PlayStation person. That's why I didn't build a computer. Buying one was just happened to be more convenient (and economical in my case last year) for my main use, which is studies.

Don't worry, though, you didn't sound much of an ass to me. :) Just know not everyone who plays games on a computer is a dedicated PC gamer.

Your right DMC2 did introduce a lot of cool features to the series and i still loved that Dante's costume over any of the old DMC games. On it's own merits, the game is not that bad at all, it does a lot f things wrong like being insultingly easy this reboot is easy too but dmc2 was ridiculous, you could pretty much shoot everything to death get dt and win, no real reason to even use your melee weapons or try to do combo's the enemies in the game were also just god awful with a small select few being the exception.
It was just a big step in the wrong direction from the first game. Not an awful abortion of gaming at all but for a dmc game it did not live up to it's legacy.

I'm actually going to be doing a DmC stream sometime today. Probably around 7PM Eastern Time in the US. I'll need to double check since I need to figure out if my friend's setup will work properly for the stream itself.

Hey, im not a fan of DmC too.
Multibro is a fan of Hate on DmC. Thats why he cant write a message without hating the game.

''Too bad it won't help the gameplay that much''
Translation of the subliminal message: ''Gameplay sucks, 60 fps wont help it. And i hate you guyz''
How about you stop putting words in my mouth. I never said I hate the game.

The most I can do is send out a bulletin on my YouTube and post a thread in the chat several hours prior to the actual stream. What's funny is that this will be my first actual time playing the full DmC game even though I've seen all of the cutscenes and whatnot.[

I don't know why he's acting like that towards anyone who is skeptical about this game. He's been doing it for awhile now. :/

I'm subscribed to your channel dude, so I'm gonna refresh it till then lol. How many hours do you estimate till it starts?

Hmm, from now till the stream starts, I'd say in about 5 or 6 hrs before the stream actually starts.

I have to set up the game, make sure my PS3 controller works, set up the stream recording system and whatnot.
I'll probably use a mic too. I'm not entirely sure.

Do you dare for a bet? I'm gonna finish the game before you even start ^_ or at least I will try.

Well at this point I'm uncertain if I'll be able to actually stream today. It all depends on if my friend's have the setup ready or not.

It's attitudes like yours what drive people who are neutral about DmC into actually starting to hate it: they associate it with people like you, and sometimes I don't even blame them.
