DMC 5 with more graphics or more content?

As a triple A game DMC5 will no doubt look great question is why and how did it come to that point that graphics have become as or more important than gameplay. I feel that all the major publishers should discuss this among themselves because this is getting out of control.

As far as I'm concerned, DMC4 graphics are fine as-is. Besides, graphics are about the least relevant part of the game - for me, even sound quality is more important, to say nothing of the gameplay.
