I lol'd.So basically you're saying just because the original creator doesn't make the sequel,that doesn't count as canon?

Take a look at god of war.
The original creator was david jaffe but he doesn't have anything to do with god of war 2 and god of war 3.
So that means god of war 2 and god of war 3 is not really canon at all?

I'm not saying it like that. I mean Hideki Kamiya creator of DMC1 had different plans for Vergil and the mythology of DMC, but after he quit Hideki Itsuno (Both have the same first name. Wierd) created DMC2, 3, and 4, but left a few plot holes from DMC1.

Actually its Hideaki itsuno but yeah..
Anyway,i would love to see for kamiya to continue it though although its impossible now.
Since DMC 1 got over 94/100 and 92.60% in critics while
DMC 3 only got 90 or 91.Imagine what will be the sequel look like if kamiya still direct the sequel but a shame really.
Capcom are a bunch of series destroyers.
