okay i watched it countless time didnt find the bug boss attached to the cieling with sumthin cause its movin freely and there is no cieling above her and second that spiral thing could be the bug boss tail but when dantes fighting i see a tail with a metal thing in the end and theres no way the tail can be that long cause in the fight it looks small

well none the less you saw the metal thing or whatever at the end of the boss, and it is floating, that's why i believe its attached to something

On topic: maybe the flags are significant in the gameplay? Like the divinity statues, or the glowing scrolls that led you into a side-mission, maybe the flags have a similar purpose?

good theory! glad to see someone is interested in the purpose of the thread :] btw any other speculations or things you find in a video/pic you can post them here, they don't have to be relevant to the flags

About the flags, wouldn't it be fun if you could cut them down when fighting and they could fall on the smallfry enemies and allow the player to attack them without resist until they can shred through the fabric? xD If the world can shift around in order to bully Dante, then it would be cool if Dante could also use the world for his benefit. Wouldn't that be ironic in a sense?

haha it would be ironic, but i would like the idea of being to interact with the environment more
