Dante doesn't really have a "true" form. Every games his DT changes. Like how a snake sheds his skin every now and then.

Hm. . But Dante is a half Demon right ?. .
He should has his own demon form..

But he isn't a full Demon so it may not apply to him. Then again he does have his own personal form but it changes from game to game. In DMC3 they had a explanation but I'm not not gonna look for it.

I had a try at the last level on Normal of DMC2 last night and i was getting Dante injured (on purpose) just to try and get DDT (desperation Devil trigger/majin form). I couldn't do it.
So obviously, it was down to pure button mashing two years ago...
