Mission 1- Brother...
-Reunite with old family.

It is another snowy winter in Fortuna Castle. Its been two years since Nero defeated Sanctus and destroyed the Order. Now, he resides within the very place where his battle ended, along with his lover, Kyrie, and their daugther, Angelica. Nero has matured since his last battle, he still has similar features of his younger and even wears the same style of clothing. The only change is that he's growing a light mustache and beard. Kyrie, too, has changed, she has become much more radiant and beautiful, and now wears casual clothing rather than her former priestess clothing when she was in The Order. Their child is small and bright, looking much like her mother and sharing her father's white hair. Her clothing consists of small dresses, like any normal girl.

After Nero finished his daily chore of collecting firewood for the winter, he left inside his house, towing the wood on each shoulder. He kicked open the door and threw some of the wood into the fire. "Papa, Papa!" the small, fragile voice of his darling daughter called to him, "Papa's back."
"Hey there, Angel, were you a good girl while I was gone?" He asked as he picked up his daughter.
"Yes, Papa, I was a very, very good girl," she said excitedly.
"Good," Nero put Angelica down and looked at Kyrie, who had just stepped out of her room after folding the clothes, "Hey there, beautiful."
"I hope that you didn't get into any trouble," she said.
"Of course not," Nero assured her. Later, Angelica was playing with her father's right arm, which she adored so very much. She played with it blissfully as she imagined it as her own. Suddenly, a knock was heard at the door, "Who is it?" Nero called.
"A stranger," the person on the other side replied, "I am looking for something." Nero walked to the door and opened it to see a person in a hooded cloak as their guest, "Hello, sir, you said that you were looking for something? What exactly are you looking for?" He asked.
"A sword..." the hooded man replied.
"Sword?"
"Yes, a katana." Nero's eyes widened in shock, "Sorry, we don't have any..." he began to explain, but the person raised his hand and, suddenly, Yamato broke through the door to Nero's room and came, willingly, to his hand, "katanas here...." Nero continued.
"Thank you," the hooded man bowed solemnly, then walked to the door, but Nero grabbed him and stopped him, "Sorry," he said, "but I can't let you go with that sword."
"Don't be rash," the hoode man said, "you have a family. I don't want to curse your daughter with the death of her own father."
"That katana has too much power for anyone to control," Nero warned.
"I know, I was the original bearer of this sword," the hooded man pulled out the blade and stabbed Nero in his ashoulder, causing him to let go, "Which brings me to another matter, where did you get it?" he asked.
"A friend," Nero replied as he swung his Devil Bringer at the man, but the man disappered and reappeared behind him, "A friend, you say?" he asked, "Who might this friend be?" Nero swung at him again, and, still, missed, "Like I would tell you," he retorted. The hooded man appeared at the door, and began to exist, "Well," he began, "It was nice seeing you, my long, lost brother, but I have some other matters to attend to. I hope that we see each other again." Nero attempted to grab the man from afar, but the doors shut before he can do so.

Back at the Devil May Cry shop, Trish and Dante were playing a game of Pool, with Trish being the current winner. "You weren't very good at math, were you Dante?" she asked mockingly.
"No," Dante replied, he shot the white ball and made it collide into the other colored balls, then, finally, the 8 ball, "I was the best at math." Trish stood frozen in shock, trying to contemplate what just happened, but gave up and join Dante for some pizza. Then, the same hooded man who had attack Nero came through the door, Dante and Trish looked at the man curiously and could sense that he meant bad news, "May we help you sir?" Trish asked.
"I had heard about you guys," the hooded man answered, "I wanted to see if you were the real deal." He walked over to Dante's desk and picked it up, causing Trish to jump off and Dante to flip backwards and dodge under it. Trish tries to attack the man with a heavy, hammer kick, but he stops it easily with the hilt of his sword, then grabs her and throws out of the shop, leaving him and Dante alone. Dante pulls out Ebony and Ivory, and began firing at him. The man pulls out Yamato and spins it around blocking and deflecting the bullets. Dante disappears, then reappears next to his Sparda and begins confronting the man. The two clash with a force strong enough to blow away almost everything near them. The two slashed at each othe continuously until the hooded man's face is finally revealed. He had long, white hair that was wrapped in a ponytail, and bangs that partially covered his face. He had light brown skin and a slender build, and wore a black vest and jeans. "You've gotten better over the years, brother," the man said.
"Who are you?" Dante asked.
"Nelo Angelo."

Dante became speechless at the sound of the name. Flashbacks of the brother who he had lost all those years ago ran through his mind. Could it really be Vergil? The sword, the accent and voice, even the eyes were all like his... Still, Dante acted as if these thoughts never phased his mind, "Well, Brother, it has been a long time. Let's make the moment we have together count."
"My thoughts exactly," the man replied to Dante's request.
"Trish, stay out of this," Dante commanded.
"Alright," Trish walked outside and waited near the door. Dante and Nelo glared at each other calmly, but fiercely. Then, the two clashed in a dance of red and blue wisps with sparks flying everywhere. After a few seconds, the two men stood a few feet away from each other, then dashed towards each other gain, only to stand in front of each other with their hands interlocked, "Its been a long time since we did this," Dante noted.
"Yes, too long, brother," said Nelo. As the two smiled at each other, privately reminiscing on old times, the door was suddenly kicked in with Nero coming into the shop, "Sorry to crash the party," he said loudly, "but I have a score to settle."
"Well, if it isn't our little brother!" Retorted Nelo. "Come, we must get more acquainted, see as how my last visit to your place was far too short." Nero took out the Red Queen and ran towards Nelo, only to get his sword knocked out of his hand, "Dammit!" he said as he slid across the floor.
"Face it, you cannot beat me at your current state!" Nelo taunted. Suddenly, a loud rumble could be heard from outside. There was a large beam of light had suddenly covered the center of the town, angel- like beings flying down through it. "We have trouble!" Trish warned.
"Yea, we know." Dante retorted lazily. "You two coming?" The group walked outside and dashed towards the light.

Mission 2- Angels & Devils
-"Will you walk the holy path of light, or cling to darkness that lies in your blood?"

The group finally arrived to the strange beam of light, angel- like beings flying and surrounding it as if they were guarding its heavenly glow. The beings roared horrendously for some strange, a roar far too familiar to the group. It wasn't a roar, more like a cry, a cry of a demon when its being tortured way beyond that of death. These beings were the Fallen, angels who had fallen from grace and had cling to their ruling demon king, Satan, and his followers. Suddenly, an even bright light gleemed in the large column. It softly landed in the ground, and doused itself to form a human figure. A woman of sheer beauty, she was so beautiful that even Trish was stricken by it. Sending off a heavenly glow from her pale, skinny frame, covered in robes, and her wings open wide and proud, she walked towards the group with a welcoming gentleness that meant no harm. The large beam of light vanished and the Fallen that were surrounding it followed behind the human- like being.
"Hello there, stranger." Nelo greeted the being while bowing solemnly.
"You know this chick?" Dante asked.
"No, but I do know that she reigns from the highest order, The Order of Heaven."
"Heaven! You're saying that place exists! This has to be a dream..." Nero retorted.
"Yes, Heaven does exist, I am here to attain the power of Sparda." Said the being.
"Here we go again," Dante retorted, "Sorry, babe, but that power is way too much for anyone to handle."
"I'm not going to use it, I'm going to seal it, so no one is going to ever use it again."
"Speaking of which," Nelo interrupted, "Our father was the one who fought the demon army, alone. Why weren't you there?"
"It was his sole mission, ever since he was born. He was meant to fight the Demon World's by himself and become the victor."
"Wait!" Dante started become confuse and furious at the same time, "You're saying tha pops was with the angels the whole entire time, and you didn't back him up?"
"Your father wasn't just with us, he was one of us, and, within each angel, there is enough power to take down Hell's entire army."
"So, how did Sparda become a demon?" Trish asked.
"He became human, he sinned immensely, then died, simple as that."
"Then he was he able to even care about humans?"
"He was angel. When an angel becomes a human, their hearts become pure, but, if they sin, they shall be sent to Hell. Yet, even as a demon, the heart remains pure. Sparda still had that same purity, and, thus, felt compassion towards humans."
"So, thats make me, Dante, and... that guy over there, angels?" Nero asked, but he didn't know Nelo's name, nor wanted to know it.
"In a sense, but no, there is no trace of holy blood within you three, and Nelo has fallen much from grace."
"If you planning on sealing Sparda's power," Nelo began, "Why not give it to us three? We are his sons and we do have the right to it."
"Don't you remember how you became the way you are now? You had to form a completely different body because you died, twice, and was resurrected, again, after Yamato was used to form a partal to the Demon World. That power cannot be used by anyone." She began walking passed the group, "There is a way to redeem yourself, though, but you must choose now. Will you walk the holy path of light, or cling to the darkness within your blood?"

^Well, if I made this into a game I would allow Dante, Nelo, and Nero to be playable characters with their own original storylines (or, at least, what the story was like in their point of view). I would also add paths where you can choose to be with or against the angels depending on your actions. Then, there would a party system with different AI commands. Everything else will remain normal.

Mission 3- The Power of Sparda
-Seal the Power of Sparda, seal the fate of the world.

"Within in us, lies the blood of Sparda," Nelo began, "but more importantly his soul..."
"We'll follow the path our father had chose," Dante interrupted.
The angel smiled and felt a sense of relief, now she can clearly see that they truly were the Sons of Sparda, "Hmph... My name is Athene', I was your father's caretaker."
"Caretaker?" Nero asked.
"Yes, at least, more like... a partner. We fought together."
"Then just say Comrade." Dante suggested.
"We, angels, word things differently from you. Anyways, give the Force Edge and your amulets, please."
Dante took off and hand the amulets, along with the Sparda sword, to her. Then, Athene' quickly stabbed Dante in the shoulder, slashed at Nelo's leg, and landed a strike at Nero's right arm. Blood covered the whole entire blade and dripped down its hilt as she rose it to the sky, "Awaken the Power of Sparda!" She called dramatically. Suddenly, the ground began rumble as the Sparda blade began to glow a bright purple. Athene' split the two amulets apart, then joined them together with the hilt of the sword. The sword, itself, transformed into more leaner shape with a slimmer blade and the spikes at the end of the hilt grew longer and gained more of a design with two purple crystals at each side of the blade, "It is done." Athene' noted. She thrusted out her palm and a portal of light opened, "This leads to the deepest part of the Demon World. Follow me, we will place the sword in the middle of the realm."
Dante and Nelo nodded to each other and followed the woman. "You two stay back!" Dante ordered to Nero and Trish as he entered through the portal.

In the Demon World, the sky was pitch black and stone pillars floated everywhere in mid- air, while the ground itself was a long road of white stones. The group walked towards the end of the road, where a large stone, the size of an island, floated aimlessly towards the road. When it came, they stepped on it and Athene's quickly stabbed the sword to the ground, "There, the deed is done. Sparda's power shall no longer be unleashed, you have..." She turned around and noticed that Dante and Nelo were gone. She turned towards the sword to see that Dante and Nelo were ready to stab their swords into the blade. She tried to stop them, but she was too late, the twins did it and the power of Sparda flowed from their blades and, then, into them. "What have you done!?" She asked angrily.
"You should know that the Power of Sparda cannot be easily contained." Said Nelo.
"We are his sons, we inherit his power, no one else can use it nor seal it." Dante contined.
"But didn't you say...?"
"We did, we chose our father's path, but we can't just let his fate be in the hands of some angel that we don't know."
"I see... So, you chose your path, then I can't allow such darkness to continue to taint the world. As the Angel of Divine Justice, I shall smite thee and rid this world of you, parasites!"

Dante smiled and laughed, "I can't believe this. We actually believed that our father was an angel."
"Athene', you should know that our father was never an angel, he was a pure- blooded demon. There is no way such a being can live in your Holy Realm." Said Nelo.
"And they said that Angels never sin." Dante mocked.
"Hush, fools!" Athene' ordered angrily. "You demons have no right to speak."
She charged at the boys at full speed, summoning a blade of light into her hands. The two men blocked her attacking and pushed her away, then began to try to her stab, but she quickly disappeared out of the way. "You fools," she said mockingly, "I have taken some of Sparda's power as well, and I'm no angel. I am Satan, one of the Three Princes of Hell, Son of the Devil- King, and King of the Holy Realm of Hell. You cannot defeat me." As he talked Nelo and Dante disappeared somewhere, "What!?" As he turned to search for them, he was quickly cut by a haze of red and blue. "How did you...?"
"We are the Sons of Sparda," the twins said in unison, "trash like you are nothing compared to us."
Suddenly, Satan split into three pieces as he died in a flash of light. With a confident smile, the twins left back to the Human World.

Meanwhile, in the Demon World, Satan's brother, Lucifer, sensed his brother's death, "My, my, so I'm the only one left." He stood up from his throne and looked to the endless red sky above. "Well, looks like I'm the new king now. I knew those fools were too weak."
