the world is lost in turmoil
the master hides behind the scenes
the world is now spoiled
spoiled by the devils and the fiends

this weather's a pathetic fallacy of our lives
war, corruption and despair turns the sky to grey
now we're all close to the reaper's scythe
and now we all must pay

peasants scorched in the massacre
souls sodden and set to stone
this is a harsh truth where no one begs to differ
and the twilight essence chills us to the bone

men becoming beasts, impassive and savage
slaughtering all before the shrine that feeds the hex
look at the world that we've ravaged
and one word of "his" may cut through our necks

red horizons in the eye of the storm
orders issued, kill or be killed
looking at our first values and norms
this, no God would have willed

I will go behind the masas
and there I will hide
but the bodies will come up from beneath the grass
cos of greed, sloth, gluttony, jealosy, lust, malice and pride

thanks, these aren't the best, lyrically, songs I've ever wrote so I was kinda worried that you guys were going to make a mockery of them. (heavy relief):|

BTW when I said that I'd been writing lyrics for about five years, that wasn't all of the creative writing I'd been doing, I've been writing stories since I was four and poems since I was five.
Again I'm not great at linguistics (living up to the English stereotype) but I speak conversational French, some German, some Urdu, some Russian, a little Latin, and some very basic Spanish.
But if I had to write a piece of work/ story/ something else like that in any language other than English, I'd be buggered.:lol:
