Devil may cry: darkness overcomes

This is my first fan fic and it's devil may cry, you might need to have watched the anime to understand it, hope you all like it ^_^


Chapter 1: three sphere's

Fear rushed in every part of her body, she was running as fast as she could because she knew something was after her. She ran up the park steps but tripped and before she had a chance to get up, the thing charged at her and knocked her out. She was carried to an abandoned church which was decorated by disturbing objects, The creature was a man but he didn't seem human. He chanted some unusual words and three sphere's that gave out lightning appeared, the man asked what his next task was and the sphere's replied
''Carve my symbols on her chest and stab her heart''. He did so. The sphere's were satisfied and said ''Now, search for a little and bring her to me...alive''. The man nodded but then asked
''What is her name and where do I find her?''. The sphere's replied
''Ask the towns people if they have seen her around''. ''But was is her name?'' asked the man. The sphere's replied ''Patty''


The next day
------------

Dante was as usual looking through his magazines at his desk and patty was playing pool with lady.
''How long will it be until I get my money, Dante?''. But Dante was ignoering her completley.
''DANTE!!!!'' shouted lady.
''How should I know, I never get paid enough by Morisson'' said Dante.
''Speaking of Morisson, we've never seen him for a while, where is he?''asked Patty.

Morisson walked in.
''Speak of the devil'' said Dante.
''Dante......'' said Morisson but then colapsed.
''Mr. Morisson.....Mr. Morisson, can you hear me?'' asked lady. Then Morisson came too.
''What happened to you?'' asked lady.
''Darkness, demons, three sphere's......'' said Morisson very quickly.
Then Dante stared with a blank look on his face, ''three....sphere's.....'' said Dante.
''Something you know about it Dante?'' asked lady.
''.........He's back'' said Dante.

Chapter 2: Hell over earth


''Who's back, Dante?'' asked lady.
Dante said with a scared face, ''Mundus''.
He than went to Morisson and asked, ''Where did you see these three sphere's and what happened to you?''.
''Demons attacked me......from all directions'' said Morisson, very quickly.
''Then what?'' asked Dante.
''Then I saw they're leader, a man, then he questioned me about Patty.........but I told him nothing'' said Morisson.
''What about the sphere's?'' asked Lady.
''AHHHHHH!!!, THE SPHERE'S KEEP THEM AWAY!!!'' shouted Morisson.
''What do we do?'' asked Lady.
''We do what we do best'' said Dante with a grin.
They both said ''DEVIL HUNTING''.


After they were prepered they headed out through the door.
''HEY!!! WHAT ABOUT ME!!!'' shouted Patty.
''Stay here and watch Mr. Morisson for us while we're gone, Okay?'' said Lady.
When they got outside they saw demons slaughtering every human they came across, they also saw a women with a baby getting surrounded by demons.
''HEY!!!'' shouted Lady.
When the demons turned around she shot every one of them with one bullet each and they exploded.
''WOW!'' said Dante amazed, ''How did do you do that?''
''My new grenade gun'' said Lady, ''do you like it?''
''Eh, it's pretty cool'' said Dante.
The explosion of the grenades caught the attention of more demons and got surrounded.
Dante started to slash first and lady shot at them, then Dante shot and lady slashed with the blade on her rocket launcher and shot rocket's at them, and before you knew it they were all wiped out.
''I see you haven't lost your touch, Dante'' said Lady.
''Neither have you'' said Dante.

''Where should we head first?'' asked Lady.
''Well, with all the rubble in the way and east is the only clear path, I suggest we go east'' said Dante obviously.
So they headed east, only to find more trouble, demons came and surrounded them again.
''I see you've came back for more'' said Dante.
He got his sword ready and slashed and gunned away, Lady helped. Soon they're were to many demons.
''Lady!, I could use a hand!'' shouted Dante.
''I'm a little busy right now!'' shouted Lady.
''Okay then.......LETS ROCK!'' said Dante.
He got in his demon form and sent a giant bolt of lightning at the demons until they were all fried.
Before they had time to celebrate, more demons appeared , to many for them to handle then a giant incect popped out the ground clearing of all the demons and Lady, it was a giant praying mantis.
''ARE YOU THE SON OF SPARDA?'' asked the demon.
''Yeah I am'' replied Dante.
''I AM MANITII, YOU'RE FATHER SENT ME TO A LIFE OF SLAVERY, AND i SWORE I WOULD KILL THE REST OF HIS FAMILY!!!!'' shouted Manitii.
''I'm sorry to hear that'' said Dante, but you're ruining the image of our town, so.........I have to kill you''.
Then the battle wit Manitii began, a few slashes and shots, Dante thought he had worn him out but Manitii grabbed Dante against a wall.
''I WILL NOW GET MY REVENGE!!!!!!!, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!'' shouted Manitii.
Dante then went into his demon form and shot a lightening bolt through his heart, then Manitii was defeated. Lady made her way through to Dante.
''IT'S TOO LATE, SON OF SPARDA......WE HAVE THE GIRL, WE WAITED UNTIL YOUR BACK WAS TURNED AND STRIKED, HAHAHAHAHA!'' shouted manitii.
''Oh my god'' said Dante shocked.

Good on ya' for posting your first Devil May Cry fan fiction, Haven. I had a quick skim through Chapter 1 but from what I saw it looked pretty darn good so far. Nice one.

I'll definitely be bookmarking this thread for tomorrow so I can check out chapter 2.

Chapter 3: Her return

After defeating Manitii, Dante and Lady rushed to the shop and Patty was gone. All they found was Morisson on the floor lying in his own blood.
''Oh my god'' said Lady worried, ''Thank god he's got a pulse.
''What did they want with Patty?'' wondered Dante, ''What was so important about her?''.
''Patty.......they took Patty'' said Morisson faintly, ''They said something about a........sacrifice''.
''Well i'm not gonna stay here and wait for the sacrifice, i've got save her'' said Dante.
''I'm going with you'' said Lady.
''NO!, you have to stay with Morisson incase they come back'' ordered Dante.
''I think i'm alright to watch after myself now Dante'' said Morisson.
''Ok, you can come'' said Dante.
''Good'' said Lady.


''Hey, since Manitii caused an earthquake when he popped out the ground the rubble has moved'' said Dante with a smille on his face.
So they headed north, but they didn't know that they where getting followed. Demons apeared around Dante and Lady again.
''You guys are getting really annoying now'' said Dante.
Dante and Lady got they're weapons ready, but a loud roar echoed all over the place and the demons left.
''Are they scared of that noice or something?'' asked Lady.
''No'' said Dante, ''they where getting called back to they're base''.
''Lets follow them'' said Lady eagerly.
''Alright'' agreaded Dante.

Soon they came up to a fork.
''Great, now where?'' said Lady.
''Right'' said Dante.
They came up to a mall and heard screams of people being attacked by demons, when they entered they saw dead body's.
''Ewwwww'' said Lady.
''They have the three sphere's carved on they're chest'' said Dante.
''The one that sounds like the thing Morisson said'' said Lady.
Then demons came again.
''*sigh*, these weak things again'' said Dante annoyed.
They both shot and slashed at them, but everytime they kill a few more come to take they're place.
''Why do they keep coming?'' asked Lady.
''There must be a power source that regenerate them'' said Dante.

Well I have to go, I'll post the rest of chapter three sometime today or tomorrow .

Okay so this is the rest of chapter 3: Her return, hope you enjoy



''Dante!'' shouted a mysterious figure.
Dante looked up and it was Trish.
''Trish!'' said Dante sounding relieved.
''There's a generator in the middle'' said Trish, ''But it's got a shield around it''.
''Then how do we destroy it?'' asked Dante while fighting.
''The are three sphere's around this place, destroy them then break the roof to let the sun in and then stab it in the middle'' Trish told Dante, ''GO!, me and Lady will handle these''.
Dante saw the first sphere, it was in a fountain sucking up all the water to gain energy. Dante shot a hole in the fountain so the water would go down and the sphere couldn't get energy, then he stabbed it and it shattered everywhere then melted.
''That's one, two more to go'' said Dante pleased with himself.
The second sphere was half way up a wall, sucking in all the shadow. Dante turned the light on and the sphere lost energy, then he throw his sword at it and it stabbed it in the middle.
''Two down, one to go'' said Dante, ''but where is it?''.
''Dante!'' shouted Lady, ''up on the glass roof!, use my grenade launcher!''.
Lady threw her grenade launcher and Dante caught it, then he aimed it at the sphere and shot at it. It then shattered along with the glass roof, the sun came in then Dante ran at the generator at stabbed it in the middle and it exploded.

The demons died and the town was safe for now.....
''It's not over yet'' said Dante, ''I have to save Patty and kill Mundus''.
''I'm coming with you!'' said Lady and Trish at the same time.
The ground rummbled.
''WHATS GOING ON?!'' shouted Lady.
''I DON'T KNOW!'' replied Dante.
Then the mall fell down into the ground to a unusual place.
''Where is this?'' asked Lady.
''This is hell'' replied Dante.

Yeah it's the Dante on the anime, well thats what I picture him like but you can picture him as any Dante if you want

Sorry for being a while, anyway here's chapter 4.

Chapter 4: Welcome to hell.

They went forward in a dark and damp cave, then they saw a light coming through the crack of a wall. Dante was the first to look through.
''What is it?'' asked Trish.
''Some kind of alter, and monks'' replied Dante.
''What are they doing?'' asked Lady.
''I don't know'' said Dante''.
They went on forward still and came across a doorway. Trish peaked in.
''What's in there?'' asked Lady.
''The room we saw before'' said Trish.
Dante looked through.
''They have Patty on the alter'' said Dante.

''What do we do?'' asked Lady.
''What we're gonna do is, me and Lady distract them long enough for Trish to take Patty and get her out of here'' said Dante.
The man entered the room with the alter with a sword in his hand. Then Dante and Lady rushed in.
''Sorry for crashing your party but we need Patty back'' said Dante.
''I'm not just going to hand her over to you'' said the man, ''I need her to bring my master back to this world and i'll be the commander of a demon army, so if you excuse me''.
Dante shot the mans hand with the sword.
''AHHHHHH!'' shouted the man in pain, ''demons kill these people!''.
Dante slashed and Lady shot, then they switched, then the demons were gone but more came back and took they're place, the began to attack.
''STOP!'' shouted the man, ''I'll take care of the red caped guy''.
''My name is Dante!'' shouted Dante.
''Dante, the demon slayer and son of sparda?'' asked the man.
''Yeah thats me'' replied Dante.
''I'm Marok, I wish to become demon''.
''Why?, being a demon gets boring fast and believe me, I am one'' said Dante.
''ENOUGH TALK!'' shouted Marok.
Dante and Marok fought each other for a while, Marok attacked Dante with a sword that was his hand. Then a weird demon power surounded the room.
''I WILL BRING BACK MY MASTER!'' said Marok.
''Very confident'' said Dante.
Dante got Marok on the foor, about to stab him but Marok kicked Dante's sword out of his hands and it stabbed Patty in the hand.
''AHHHHHHH!, OW!'' shouted Patty.
A big potal came

Sorry for not finising it, my PC was crashing so I posted it before it went off and deleted my work. Anyway......

Chapter 4 continued.....

A giant portal appeared and out came Mundus.
''Mundus!'' said Dante.
''Master'' said Marok.
''MAROK, YOU'VE BROUGHT ME BACK TO THIS WORLD AND I THANK YOU, BUT YOU ALSO FAILED ME!'' said Mundus.
''What have I done wrong?'' asked Marok.
''DANTE STILL DEFEATED YOU ,WHEN IT WAS MEANT TO BE YOU THAT DEFEATED DANTE, SO DIE!!!'' Said Munus.
A lightning strike went through Marok and killed him.
''SO USELESS'' said Mundus, ''SO DANTE IT'S ME AND YOU''.
The place started to shake, Trish took Patty.
''LADY GET OUT!'' shouted Dante.
''NO I'M STAYING WITH YOU!'' replied Lady.
''NO! I NEED TO DO THIS MYSELF!'' shouted Dante.
''OKAY! BUT DON'T DIE ON ME'' said Lady.
Then she left and Dante was alone with Mundus.
''LETS END THIS!!!!'' shouted Mundus.
''Lets'' said Dante.
Dante charged at Mundus with his sword.
''AAAHHHHHHH!'' shouted Dante.
Lady and Trish where outside and saw the whole place explode and sink into the demon world.
''Do you think he's okay?'' asked Lady.
''He's Dante, he probebly got out'' replied Trish.

Trish, Lady, Patty and Morisson where at Dante's shop.
Then the door opened, it was Dante!.
''Dante your alive'' said Patty with a smile.
''Dante here is your payment'' said Morisson handing a suitcase to Dante, ''see you soon''.
Dante looked in the case and Lady snached it of him.
''I'll take this as half your debt'' she said, then she left along with Trish.
''Would you like something Dante'' asked Patty.
''Strawberry sundae and pizza'' replied Dante.
