My own walkthrough for each bosses in DMC3 and DMC3: SE. I'll try my best to make it a good boss walkthrough.

1. Hell Vanguard

Recommended Devil Arms: Rebellion, Yamato, Force Edge, Beowulf (main weakness)

Recommended Guns: Any

(Dante)

Hell Vanguard is weak against Beowulf, however at the start of game, you only have Rebellion and Ebony and Ivory. Start by using Rebellion to hack away his health, and continue dodging whenever he attacks. He can defend against your attacks and parry them, and start his own counter attack. If he does that, dodge roll or jump away. After you deplete a certain amount of his life, he starts to use teleport attacks, from the ground and air. Dodge quickly if he does this, as those attacks are dangerous.

Trickster - You can use Dash to quickly avoid the boss attacks, or Wall Run.

Royalguard - You can use Block and Release to absorb his attacks, and Release it back to him. Make sure the Release attack counts, as it is a one shot attack, and must be charged again by blocking enemies attacks by using Block and Charge.

Swordsmaster - Use Prop Shredder, or any Rebellion combos to bring him down.

Gunslinger - You can use Charged Shots from afar to defeat him, but it will take a long time, and it is highly recommended to use Rebellion or Beowulf to kill him instead relying on your guns.

Doppelganger - You can bring him down easily by equipping Beowulf, and use Alter Image. However, keep an eye on your Devil Trigger gauge.

This boss is not so difficult as long as you can predict his movements.

(Vergil)

As Vergil has Beowulf from the start, use it to kill Hell Vanguard quickly. Any Beowulf attacks deal high damage to him. Summmoned Swords deal small damage to him, so don't rely on it so much, unless you have Spiral Swords to add extra damage while you hurting him with your Beowulf attacks.

Darkslayer - Use Air Trick in case you are far away from the boss.

Secret 1: When a bell sound eerie all of the sudden during a battle, it means that he will use those teleport attacks. Dodge quickly to avoid his attacks, as he can reuse those attacks again and again.

Secret 2: Whenever Hell Vanguard starts parrying your attack after defending or clashing with your attacks, the boss will raise up his scythe to do an overhead slice, which you can parry it too by using your attacks. However, your timing must be perfect. Using Vergil's Starfall or Dante's Killer Bee, you can repeatedly parry his attacks until he flinch. (Other attacks work too) However, he will teleport immediately after he flinch, and you won't be able to get extra hits on the boss when he flinch, but this is a great way to raise your Stylish Points fast!

Secret 3: Hell Vanguard's weakness is light, so use Beowulf whenever you encounter him!

2. Cerberus

Recommended Devil Arms: Rebellion, Agni and Rudra, Nevan, Yamato.

Recommended Guns: Shotgun, Ebony and Ivory, Summoned Swords

(Dante)

Dante will have a heard time fighting him without Agni and Rudra as this is the beginning of the game, however Shotgun and his twin guns are good enough. Break off his ice casing of Cerberus's heads using your guns, ans start using Rebellion to slash away at his heads. Pay attention to his attacks, and dodge away the attacks in proper timing. You have to destroy all of three heads to truly defeat it. Be caution, as Cerberus' attacks are very dangerous, you may need to try many times and may need to buy some Vital Stars.

Trickster - Use Dash or Wall Run to dodge his attacks easily.

Swordsmaster - Use Aerial Rave to slash away at Cerberus heads after breaking the heads' ice casing.

Gunslinger - Use Rapid Shoot from Ebony and Ivory to break off the ice casing quickly, or use Rapid Shoot from Shotgun in short range to break the ice casing too.

Royalguard - Not recommended to use, unless your Royalguard's level is level 2, Air Block and Air Release are very useful.

(Vergil)

Vergil has easier time since he has Yamato. Use Aerial Rave repeatedly to break Cerberus' ice casing, then hit his heads using Aerial Rave too.

Darkslayer - Use Air Trick just in case you are in danger.

Secret 1 - Cerberus' weakness is fire, so use Agni and Rudra whenever you fight him! (unless in your first encounter)

Secret 2 - Repeated attacks to Cerberus' heads will cause him to fall down, and you can use the chance to use your combos to kill him. However, this will only happen sometimes, and not all the time.

Secret 3 - After you acquire Nevan, make sure you purchase Air Raid, as Nevan's DT form attacks are great, such as Vortex. The attack can damage Cerberus considerably.

I shall update it later.:)
