Does anybody at all know how to unlock this feature?

play it on normal then a question will come up and usually asks u if u want to ude this mode

i unlocked it by dieing three times on mission 1

That was how you unlocked easy mode in DMC3. It's the same in DMC2?

why would you want to unlock it anyway ? DMC2 is the easyest of all DMCs

I know it's the easiest.... but I still need to unlock all special features!

ive always unlocked it by dying 3 times, thats how it usually is.
