Demon, Angel, & Hybrid for Vergil?

it's a demonic weapon though...wait, did Dante kill a demon to get the scythe?

we dont knw really. i mean itd make sense if he killed an angel for it. but there is no evidence that we ever see an angel in the game. i think its likely that he either takes out a demon who is using the weapon or finds/steals it from the demons. it could explain what the keys do, they open doors that contain different weapons like the angel ones

There is no reason why they couldn't make Beowulf an Angel in DmC.
but...But...BUT DATS HOW *nerd spazzes* but seriously though, i wonder what that'd look like...wonder if it'd be a girl this time...bet Vergil'd be all "I don't think it sporting to cut a lady but *slices* you didn't give me much of an option" XD

Beowulf as an angel would probably look basically the same as Beowulf as a light element demon. The different universe would be the thing that changes his appearance (And why would an angel version of a male demon named after a male hero be female.)

The dialogue bit seemed funny when I thought it up

Beowulf in the original Henry Shamus novel was a guardian or a holy warrior/hero of some sort......Beowulf in DMC3 if anything was based more on Grendel, the demon Beowulf slain, it just had Beowulf's name since it sounded cooler than Grendel.

So in DmC they'll be accurate if Beowulf was an angel or something.
