Well, it's been nearly 2 month since I finally got DMC3:SE for PC thanks to one of my friends, and I really liked Dante :) never seen such a crazy and cool guy ^_^ so I decided to dedicate these rhymes to him and to DMC3 game/ (sorry for some mistakes in my writing - English is not my native language after all...) may be I'll add some more crazy things soon.

Temen-ni-Gru Revival.

The tower on the hill is sleeping in the rain,
Wet rays of raising sun are slowly marking stones;
And at the tower's feet, between the hollow winds,
You'll see these hills of ancient Beast's bones.

The legend's thorns will scratch your mind again,
Knight Sparda's spirit's calmly calling to your soul,
You quickly grab your sword, shut down doors,
And then you give out strange, blood-freezing howl.

Not yet awakened, go straight to Hell,
To stop the sorcerer's time-holding praying rhymes.
Is it too late to close the book of Deathly Sins,
That summons in the dark the worst of man's true crimes?..

Meeting a brother.

His sincere whisper slowly tears you heart,
He looks at you from high-rise tower beneath.
You feel his glance, it's always aimed at your face;
He takes away your mind and living soul's breathe.

His only thought's about the seven mortal Sins,
Which have been hidden deeply in a secret place.
They slowly drain on the mirror of the Sun,
Enchanting Him with Demon's perfect magic grace.

His curse protects him from the usual windy blows,
And sleeping heart knows nothing but his greed.
He searches for treasures to collect and Legendary powers;
He makes you shake like if your soul's to bleed...

Vergil.
[Let me...]

Let my blood be bowling,
Let me see my fate,
Let me stay forever
Within the darkest gate.

Let me hash the bones,
Let me tear the hearts.
Let me dash in grimness
Of Hell and lying stars.

I will rise from ashes,
I will catch the night,
I will follow blizzards
And make the sunset bright.

I am lured by deserts,
I'm a soul of fights.
Let me rise my swords
To see fantastic sights.

I think that this rhyme matches Lady's point of view when she meets Dante...

Devil may cry

I saw your smiles and schoolboy’s grins –
Those things I can’t deny.
Now salty drops shine on your lips,
But may the devil cry?..

You told me – that’s your own way,
And I’ve got no right
To follow you or interfere
Because of your knight’s pride.

You aim and shoot, and reach the stars
While leaving me apart.
I can’t believe – you’re so calm,
Though with a broken heart.

Your soul is tougher than your swords,
You have much strength to fight.
I wish that you return again
To make the sunrise bright.

And you come back from rainy skies,
Then hide your tears and sigh.
I know: somewhere there is a place
Where even devils cry.

Thanks ;) playing DevilMayCry3 really inspires to do some strange things - kinda writing verses. xD heh, and just to think how I frighten my friends with these rhymes ;) they don't understand how a person may think in the other language....

Well it's all good anyway.

One or two errors gramatically but it's no big deal. Besides, no English speaking country (including England) has a population of which most speak proper English.

And I know about the american stereotype of the English speaking like "Would one like a scone and jam" and "What a splendid day" and all of that crap. It's a myth.

Anyway keep up the good work!;)

Im sorry, im somewhat gilty of that. But it's not our fault, it's the media, thats how they portray you guys on American television.

Hmmmmm it makes me wonder if there's some myths and stereotypes about Americans in other country. And if so, what is it? Oh, just thought of one. I once saw an animated French film where ALL of the Americans are obese. To be honest, there's a pretty big number of fat a$$es over here. But not ALL of us are fat.

Back on topic. I like your poems Aliya, you should post them on fanfiction.net. You would get alot of compliments.

The Phantarch, in my school students are supposed to study a U.K. type of English, but it turned out that we study just American-English ;)
Vergilissexy, thanks again :) as for stereotypes of Americans, in Russia we have a common stereotype that there are no blonds in America ;) funny.
P.S. i've got some other poems in English, not about DmC games ;) I may send you them in privat mail if you'd like.
