It is probably just written with a marker or something. Not necessarily lipstick. Either way, does it matter?
Or maybe they are just random human chicks who have no real importance to the story at all other than "Dante had sex".
those scars on his back are probably scartch marks of the girls he did the night before. As a guy who has been in a steady relationship for almost half a decade, I could only wish for a damn healing tattoo like that (oh, look what a stud I am).
Let's talk about those tattoos and scars from the public enemy trailer.
Now on the blades of his back, it seems that that's an angel-related tattoo, which could be the source of his healing powers, since angels represent peace and good. Now as we look at the trailer, we see that Dante is waking up, naked in his bed, probably just did it with some hot women at a bar...or
Then he took two back to his place and did a little:
Then he wakes up with scars on his back, and the angels decide to give him that tattoo to make his scars dissapear or to inhance his angel healing factor. Also the tattoos on his left arm say,
"One hell of a night! Call us!"
It's already been confirmed that the new Dante is half demon half angel, which is why he has the angel symbol on his back
I was wondering where those scars came from and I didn't even see the writing on his left hand. Good to know Dante is taking care of business because I wasn't so sure about the original. For some reason during DMC4 and that scene with Trish and Lady, I kept wondering if he (OG Dante) was a virgin.

Anyways, about the tattoos I read somewhere on this forum someone saying the sword on his back is rebellion. But if that's so, then wouldn't Ebony and Ivory be tattooed on his wrists or something? So why were they stuck up on that wire?
