I liked his puns. They weren't super modern either. Some were stuff I haven't heard in a minute. But hey, it's better then "Let's rock, baby" and "party this, party that." I usually think when Japan tries to find cool American lines or tries to emulate Northern culture like rap music for example, they're still stuck in the 80's of what use to be cool.

I got suspicious when every single lead male character they've ever designed is in a short sleeved trench coat and some form of cowboy boots, and most of the early attempts at one-liners (I'm looking at you DMC1) were things that were supposed to sound like something out of a cool western action movie, but ended up sounding wooden and weird. Things improved a ton once itsuno realized that they were bad at being serious, and decided to go full cheese instead.

You know... I know that both QueenB and Retro Studios Samus were voiced by Jennifer Hale (she also did Elena from Grandia II), but I still feel like the worst kind of unholy slime when I see the QueenB in a Samus suit.

Samus is the woman that QueenB could never hope to be. Ever. I don't care how many weapons QueenB has or how strong she is. She has no shame. She just does not care about her own self-image.

Samus would keel over in disgust at the very sight of QueenB having the nerve to wear her suit (and with a lollypop too -- egad!). She would then immediately change suits and never wear her original one again.

Then walk away like the boss that QueenB will never be.
