Dante vs Mundus's Elite Guards

easier if he had the style switching from DMC4 harder if he didn't as he would only have one style to use but it all depends on the player and the style used

I wonder if this would be easier or harder with DMC3 Dante's actual move list.

Easier possibly. Mainly if he could use all of his styles at once.

Seeing how Dante has Quicksilver and Royal Guard (although royal guarding is a lot harder than parrying/demon dodging in most cases) I feel like he's more versatile when it comes to defensive options.

If he's not able to use all of his styles at once, I guess it would be harder. DMC4 Dante would probably be able to handle it with no problem simply because he can use all of his styles at once.

The only problem I see for DMC4 Dante would be the dreamrunner's tendencies to counter mid combo, I don't think their is fast enough evasive maneuver in game to dodge it.

^ What shea said.

Dante can easily royal guard or skystar in midair. Loads of videos exist where Dante is comboing an enemy and gets interrupted by another one and just parries/avoids the incoming attack.

Agree with shea, but I don't think skystar would be quick enough because, when the dreamrunner counters you in mid-air, for a short time, Dante is stuck in a parried animation and you can't cancel out of it.

So you have a very short amount of time to get out of the way.
And the closer you are to it the less time you have.
