Dante vs Ichigo Kurosaki

I don't have that much faith for Ichigo in this fight,but this fight sure would be epic.Lets see what the rest of you people have to say about who would win.

as far as i know dante dosn't have the power to see or touch spirits. so he is at a major disadvantage. you can't win against an opponent you can't hurt or even see.

if dante could see and touch ichigo. then i'm not sure who whould win. both are very strong and very hard to kill.

Dante's fought spirits before. What was Doppelganger supposed to be if he wasn't a spirit? Soul Eaters were spirits as well.

Dante would kick Ichigo's ass with some witty 'now get into that light, punk!' type of thing. Dante can see spirits, the games and the anime are proof. The only problem would be that Dante might actually be too dim to realize he's dealing with a spirit, and he probably wouldn't stab or shoot Ichigo because he'd assume the kid is human.
He'd rough Ichigo up quite a bit though And seeing as Dante can't die, Ichigo loses by default.

soul eaters changed into a phyisical form to kill dante. if they could kill from a spirit form then they whouldn't need to change before they attack. dante whould have been killed by just a cloud of smoke.

to hurt a shinigami reqires a weapon made to fight spirits. dante's weapons are made to kill demons. not quite the same thing. all the spirits dante has faced had some type of physical body to destroy.

Removal of vital organs off their bodies, decapitation, slicing off limbs for a slow death - all of this can kill them.

The can die, their regeneration might be fast, but as all humans(They are still humans dont they do?) they might die of a sustained damage, or a huge amount of damage in one strike.

Example, lets say that Dante got hit by a meteor(Might be a little too far but it works for the example).

Now back about the Ichigo VS Dante fight, Dante can still kill him with ease.

Considering Vergil can move faster than the eye can see and Dante being just as agile in combat, it'll be pretty difficult to actually chop off a limb, even more so to gouge out their lungs. Especially if they're armed.

shinigami are not linked with hell they are from the Soul Society. which is not even close to hell.

Yamato's powers are related to the seperation of earth and hell. Soul Society and things from Soul Society are not affected by that.

Demonic powers do not protect aganst shinigami. they make his body harder to damage and they give dante strength and speed higher than a human. and they allow him to use devil trigger wich improves all those traits and makes him heal quickly. none of those abiltys are related to immunity from shinigami.

the spirits in Bleach can affect the physical world but they can not be hurt by it.

devil arms have not been shown to have the power to hurt spirits except for ones that have a part of themselves in the physical world.


oh and SpardaTM. have you noticed that you have a tendency to automaticly pick a side in threads like this and say that the other side is helpless. you seem unwilling to consider. equal or near equal fights.

no facts in dmc support any of what you are saying. however for the sake of this thread lets assume dante can see and touch shinigami. ichigo whould still be a strong opponent for dante. ichigo has taken hits equal to what dante has been hit with and caused even more damage. other shinigami have taken hits far beyond anything dante has had to deal with and continued to fight. shinigami are nearly impossible to kill. and ichigo is more than a normal shinigami. he is one of the vizards. part shinigami, part hollow and far stronger than a normal shinigami.

if dante could fight ichigo it whould be a real fight nether of them is weak. they are both near impossible to kill and they both have alot of power.

thinking about it it seems to me that even if dante could see and touch ichigo. ichigo whould still have the advantage. as impossible as it sounds ichigo seems to actually be stronger than dante.
