Dante - Super Saiyan

Since the game's devil trigger, doesn't anyone seem to find that Dante's power seemed.... "super saiyan"?

From what I see it, it's not complete. Its more like kaioken.

Hopefully in the next game (if possible), the true devil trigger will be unleashed. Same goes for the angel trigger.

Mah I found Vergil at the end of Vergil's Downfall to be more SS looking than DT Dante...

Yea, Dante going Devil Trigger reminded me of a super saiyan like transformation. He gets in that power up pose with a change of hair color and screaming.

Its a reboot based on a japanese franchise with super transformation, with dragonball having the first super transformation which only came to be because Toriyama was looking for a reason to not ink Goku's hair on every panel

The "False" (first?) Super Saiyan Transformation reminds me too much of The Quickening for me to take the general Super Saiyan concept seriously.

And technically, since that "False Transformation" ("Semi-Super Saiyan") came first in the timeline (according to the vids below), I'm going to have to give credit to Highlander more than anything else.

Well i wouldnt mind Dante having something like SS4 as that was my favorite SS transformation as the whole half-monkey vibe was way cooler than SS3's no eyebrow and rapzunel lenth hair.
