Dante Gave Up Smoking / No Lock on :S

one of the main reasons lock on was removed was due to the combat style of the game. as we all know to use an angel or demon weapon you hold R2/RT and L2/LT respectively. however think about it, how would you be able to dodge and lock on instanlty if your holding one of them. itl be confusing for beginers and not to mention it means your supproting a controler with your three weeakest digits. so itll probs fall out your hand. so to make it easier they added two dodge buttons so players could create their own rhythem. hence one reason there is no lock on.

second, it is because they want a more free flowing combat. using lock ons means your technique is aimed at one person and then you switch to the next after your done. while pretty fun, it gets annoying dealing with the same enemy about 7 times b4 you move to the next section. especially on your 15th run of the game. now by removing lock ons your able to strike and target multiple enemies at once. escencially juggling opponents which i personally cant wait for. it adds more freedom to the fighting styles you can use and lets you flex out your inner god complex while your toying with multiple enemies 20 feet in the air...no...just me...well either way im glad they removed it.
