hmmm....this is true, he probably would be a good bit younger than dante, but that might just be his cameo. as a child

true. do you think he would have his devil arm? i think he barely got his devil arm in dmc4 or maybe it just got really worst than what it had been. the only reason why i think that is because he had it covered and if he was born with it i dont think a sling would of been his choice to cover it, let alone keep it a secret for so long

i don't think he will have his devil arm, because i agree that i think he had just got it in dmc4, for all we know in this reboot they might explain nero's existence as being dante and vergil's younger brother, which like i said i just think it would be a cool cameo from a dmc character

when NT said that i think they could be reffering to virgil or even more of lady as she wasnt in dmc4 that much lol any one agree xD

Dante was 29 in Devil May Cry 4, and Nero was 18/19. There's a ten year age difference between them. Dante was 18/19 in Devil May Cry 3 (Which acted as his origin story, from Capcom anyway). I assume Dante would be between 17/18 in Ninja Theory's take. So Nero would be 7/8 years old in the game (If they are even going to bother staying canon to DMC, since this isn't canon anyway) But for me, it's not worth having him in it. If he was in it, he'd have to be around the same age as Dante which would mean he definitely isn't Dante/Vergil's son. But I'm happy with the thought of that. But still, it evokes more questions that need answering. I guess it depends on two things, if Ninja Theory can be that bothered to explain so much to us, or if they can do it well enough.

Don't think that Nero will be there since NT gave Dante the new weapon that turns almost like Nero's devils arm that can grab the enemys and other things.. and some of his combat moves too..

be loyal to what matters
for me, I read a interesting thread on the nt forums about Dante becoming a exorcist before dmc3. I disagreed with the idea since Dante doesn't seem like someone who cared about saving the sinner before dmc3 but I thougt that having exorcists in the series was an interesting idea.
I thought that of Nero were to be in the reboot, it would be interesting to see him changed from quarter demon with relation to Dante to human exorcist with no relationship to Dante. That would rectify his one problem as a character since he was a character whose role in the series could have been easily filled by doing more with dmc3 Dante.
The one problem I have with the above is that that character role could be easily filled by lady and would really be better off being lady since it wouldn't change her character to much. And I rather see lady be playable than Nero since she would add more to the series than Nero.
If Nero was still done the way he was, he would be a little kid or a baby depending on how you see the timeline but that would be interesting to see how Dante and Vergil react to another family member. I rather it be a girl since it would be a different dynamic but it still works with a dude.
