Late last year the folks at CAPCOM, the team behind the new Devil May Cry game, locked Andy LaPlegua into his Atlanta studio and wouldn't let him out until he wrote a crapton of new music for the video game. The end result was over an album's worth of new music that will be featured in the game along with Combichrist classics including "Sent To Destroy", "Get Your Body Beat", "Never Surrender" and others. We've just loaded a one-track audio sampler of new music into the BandPage player. Keep in mind this was music written specifically for the game and is NOT a preview of the next Combichrist album. We are extremely proud of this. Check it out!

finally something DMC-ish! my rock is back in it's place where it belongs.

Everyone seems so pleased with this I guess the popular concensus is a happy one.

Didn't have a problem with the Noisia sample, thought it sounded great. But this Combichrist sample was the sh**! I wonder if this'll be the theme song or what the main song will be like

I don't normally like Combichrist or industrial-ish metal in general, but this kicks a dozen kinds of ass.

Was awesome, but I didn't feel it as much. I guess I'm more use to "Never Surrender" and "sent to Destroy." Still a good song none the less.

Scratch that, I'm listening to more then the sample song and I'm impressed now. especially with "throat full of glass" (album version)

I guess it will be fun to change the soundtrack into a 70's rock channel and see how time, fashion and music flows.
Bet the PC version will be fun with the mods and customs...

well for anyone afraid that there will be no original pieces of music in the game, don't worry i asked tameem about it on twitter, and he said there are a "a few bits to glue it all together" so i'm taking that as a yes. :)
