That's not to say he won't be extremely skilled by the end of the game. I like the fact that they lost the surfer mentality and went for a more serious approach. I mean, most people are against it, but in my opinion, if you take yourself more seriously, the same will hold true for the world around you as well. I think this holds true for game characters as well.
