look, new dude, no offense to you but I feel that they are making some bad decisions when it comes to pr etc because its still a year in and i cant actually give someone a synopsis of this game because i dont know what the actual story is other than the broad strokes they gave us.

But didn't Capcom do exactly the same thing with DMC4? The first release trailer for it gave absolutely nothing away of the story except that Dante was going to be in it, and interviews they had with the guys who were working on DMC4 also gave us little to no info on the story. Did they ever give the fans an interview in which they said 'this is who is going to be in it, this is what the story is about' before the games' release?

I can't remember how they did the pr but im pretty sure they gave you more too work with and it was enough to give a synopsis to someone.
For example- "DMC4 is about this dude nero who works for this group called the order who fights demons and one day Dante comes in and attack them and nero decides to go after him trying to find out answers.
See was that so hard?

^Ah, okay. I wasn't into following Capcom and keeping track of their interviews until after I bought the DMC4 game, so I don't know how they conducted things. But if they gave away that much info on DMC4 before it was even released...
...then I hate Capcom.

They do so because they will not accept the changes been made. They want the same old that they are comfortable with and know from the past games, and because they aren't getting that, they are disappointed and feel the need to bash it.

that's not just it
Ninja Theory/Cacpom shouldn't use the Devil May Cry name, until now this game can't stand the DMC standarts, they should've just cancelled DMC for good instead of giving this game the DMC name.

This game might look fine and I even liked the combat system, but as a part of the DMC series, it isn't that good (like Devil May Cry 2).
