Capcom: “Uptick In Pre-Order Sales” After DmC Devil May Cry Demo

Then why didn't they map the controller scheme to have angel and demon on one side of the triggers. And then dodge on the left trigger. That is like 10x more intuitive then the current setup. Bam one more button to use. This also frees your left hand to press the d-pad to switch the other weapons.

Also they could have added an option to make the demon angel modes toggle-able for the more hardcore players used to DMC3 and 4. I mean PC games let you toggle crouch or hold crouch to crouch..
You do realise you can customise your layout right? I have a completely different layout than the default one and use my trigger/bumper for demon mode and dodge as RB.

Whoop! Two of my questions got in (Environmental kills and artbook).
 
I guess that's not the point, because it still leaves a function out that could have been implemented, although I reiterate the game works perfectly fine without it :P
I wouldn't say perfectly, but having the option satisfies both parties.

Could "easily" be implemented by a few changes.
To go into Angel/Demon mode you press the button once and you're then in that mode till you change or press the button again to go to default. This also allows you to have a button spare (like me) to lock onto enemies. Lock on was also handy for letting you know how much health enemies have remaining. But again, the option should be there but it's not broken without it.
 
I dunno, with how drastically the Angel and Demon modes can change your controls, it being a toggle be really iffy, and I can understand why they mentioned that they went with the hold system in the end.

I think at most they could have had R3 act as both a lock-on and camera snap. The biggest problem is that a hard lock does restrict you, and I've done a few things in DmC that would not have been doable with a hard lock, because of how the mechanic works in older DMCs.

Some sort of target tag would still be welcome though, even if it was just a splatter of paint on the enemy or a glowing outline around them.
 
Also I'm surprised DmC isn't even in the top 10 for preorder sales when its released next month especially when it has good preorder bonuses (full extra dlc chapter)

Regardless its good to see Anarchy Reigns (MY FAVORITE GAME THIS GENERATION NO DECADE) is getting attention after Japan completely shunned it but I think that is SEGA's fault.
 
How can a game where you pile-drive helicopters, ride giant monster mutants, and fight a boss all in the middle of a online team match be meh???
The combat system isn't that deep surprisingly and the bosses are cool but get old fast after you learn their patterns (which takes only a few attempts). The missions are quite repetitive with them being beat x guys, protect x person or beat x boss and that's it for the most part.The online is horribly imbalanced as well. The biggest selling point of the game is it's soundtrack honestly.

I don't think Anarchy Reigns was meant to have a deep combat system especially with how the game s structured to be able to use a ton of more options outside pulling off combos such as using various other weapons like sniper rifles, rocket launchers, laser cannons, and tires and the rather large stages and battlefields.

It's laggy and Bayonetta and Ai Rin are so unbelievably overpowered you can't actually kill them.

I know who I'M MAINING! I played the demo from the Japanese Xbox dashboard and loved it. Non-traditional fighter fun! Not only that but it's only £17 here on launch. I'm buying it for the funz and to support Platinum. I hate that their efforts are being sold so cheaply.

MGR should be the financial boost they need to get back on track.

Here I thought Fei-Rin with her Halberd dive move would be a problem but I guess Ai's wide ranged Nunchaku moves would cause a lot of issues for her opponents. Sure in various team and battle royale matches its not much of a problem but I'm sure I (when I get the game) will find some way to counter Ai Rin and put that hag (Bayonetta) in her place.

I made an oath that any Bayonetta player I face online that I will F*CKING MURDER THEM!!!!

Well good luck and yeah Ai Rins unbelievable speed,wide range and huge damage means she literally has no weakness since shes fast and small to. :/

................I'm sure she isn't totally unbeatable....maybe you haven't found much luck. I mean the same can actually be said about Wolverine in Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 but I still manage to find ways to beat him.
