Calling all NEO GEO/SNK Fans!

SNK has officially released a small poll asking its fans what Neo Geo games they want to see ported to the Playstation Network.

Whatever games they choose will be downloadable and playable on PS3, PS4, and the humble PS Vita.

So far, the leading picks are Garou: Mark of the Wolves, The Last Blade 2, and Samurai Shodown V: Special.

There are over 200 Neo Geo games, some of which are bound by licensing from third-party companies like Hudson Soft or Monolith. If you're talking about porting all of the games listed in the poll, I'm not sure why SNK doesn't port that select few, especially since Samurai Shodown and Fatal Fury are considered cult classics of the fighting game genre.

I personally think really rare games are the ones that should be ported. Garou and Last Blade got releases on other systems like the Dreamcast or the Wii, but games like Ninja Masters and Shock Troopers were given extremely limited releases...and Samurai Shodown V: Special was never even released. I'm surprised they're even offering it for digital distribution.
