I tried to go into the What are you Thinking thread and got this error message again and again:

Now who posted WHAT in this thread and why does it want to take me to a completely different website?
Has anyone else had this come up at all?

NOTE: Please don't be silly and click the links that appear in the quoted section. It's probably a porno site or something.

Just thought I'd alert you guys incase it's a bug that's made itself home in that thread.

I didn't get it. What browser are you using?

EDIT: I remember my dad had blocked that site on my computer because that's what ****ed up my old laptop. I think you may have gotten a virus, or something.

a while ago, kaspersky blocked a virus from this forum <_<

I'm using Google Chrome, but I've never come across this problem before.

I have been using Mozilla Firefox since I had my own laptop, and I have never encountered this problem all these years. Does your computer has a virus?

Maybe it's her anti-malware that is warning her. Since we don't have the same, we don't get the display but maybe we are too in danger of the malware. D:

I'd reccomend in future sending Staff a PM or VM to alert us sooner ^^

I believe that the problem you are having is very innocent.
The security in either your browser, anti-virus/firewall or OS is set to a point where it warns you of potencial (not confirmed) threats. I have never experience any negative elements to DMC.org apart from the occassional Troll.

Although we are a secure and safe site, the threat of virus' are still prominant. I would reccomend you either:

a) Ignore the warning, and proceed anyway (using the Tick box)
b) Listen to the warning and take no chances, and just not participate in the aforementioned thread

Personally I would proceed anyway since I trust DMC.org and my own Anti-Virus/Security systems, however it is your PC and the risk is yours. We cannot take responsibility if something does happen.

Personally, I don't see much risk in allowing it, I would imagine that 'animecutie's association only goes as far as a Link (ie. someone reccomending the site) or an Image.

I will be sure to let Steve know and find out if there is anything we can do to prevent this in future.

Eh, I know what it is, I'm getting the same error message on Chrome, page source info seems to link it to Tonk's dancing Vegeta, as it's the only thing in the source code that comes from animecutie. :lol:

But still, she's had the dancing Vegeta for a while and it's caused no problems, it's probably just a result of some systematic malware check Google carries out on the site, not necessarily anyone's fault, don't be concerned.

Eh, it's true, literally is the only thing in the page source code that links to animecutie, but as I said, she's had it for ages and it's never caused any issues, it's probably from some advert that got hosted on the site, someone clicked on it, got malware'd and reported it, now Chrome's listing it as a dangerous site, when in reality, it's not.

Here's the problem - someone here is hotlinking an image from a site that also contains content which may not be good for you - either malware or porn - something like that - and it's getting flagged up for people when they try to view the thread that this person has also posted in.

We know what it is and we've also removed the image - moral of the story, kids - don't hotlink unless you're sure of the site

Why remove it? It hasn't caused any problems besides this, which shouldn't have mattered.

The massive warning message in itself is a big enough problem to put users from registering, or even visiting at all. All when Google red flags your site for spam, then your site tends to slip further and further down tin ranking. I, personally, never opt to visit a spammy website and - being a fellow Chrome user - whenever I see that kind of warning I just click on my 'Back' button and return to where I came from.

I think I'll follow Steve's example. I can't afford to get a virus of any kind on my PC because I've got no backup and my entire life is on this thing.

Whoa, I didn't mean it like that. I meant it shouldn't have mattered because there was nothing really wrong.

I did NOT mean to offend you. That is simply not in my nature. I'm sorry.
