Assuming There Will be a Sequel.....

If there is a sequel for DmC (very likely) what are you hoping for?
I have made a list of the things i hope to see introduced in the next game.

1.Taunting: We all know Dante is a badass, and there is nothing better than finishing an SSS combo with a taunt.

2.The Shop: Seeing as how now Limbo and the real world are one, I wouldn't be surprised if the humans now needed someone to help them.

3. Heaven and Hell: When the TGS10 Trailer came out when i read that one quote about heaven and hell i assumed we would traverse those dimensions, i think this would really fill that gap we saw where, all the enemies were demons and none angels, it would add some variety to the mix.

4. A real DT: Lets be honest the DT in DmC wasn't the best, i saw where they were going, Dante's was a quicksilver style one while Vergil's was dooplenganger style, i think in this one, you start out with the current DT in the beginning and eventually get a better one (actual transformation).

5. Old Weapons Returning: The most disappointing thing about all Devil May Cry games is that all those weapons you got are gone in the next game, i would like to see Eryx, aquila, osiris, arbiter, kablooey return but with new ones, the down D-Pad is never used so it could be used to switch between other weapons.

Well that's all i got, what are your thoughts? Leave what you think should be in the sequel below.

1. Taunting.

2. The shop: He needs to gain allies from those who are worthy & capable of fighting the demons. Half breeds like him & humans like Kat. Plus make the shop his old home rebuilt as an organization for the new Order.

3. Dante getting stabbed by his own sword or by an enemy's.

4. Weapons: I don't like Eryx. He should have both gauntlets & shinguards for his devil arm arsenal. Angel arms should wield chained sickles.

5. New Characters: Hybrids & humans

6. Angels: Those that will ally with Dante and those that are against him fearing his power.

7. Returning characters: They should bring Phineas back to continue assisting Dante. They can bring Lilith but not a whore.

8. More about Sparda

9. Angel Trigger & Nephilim Trigger. DT to a better transformation.

All your ideas sound good for me. On top of that, I'd make the harder difficulties even harder. Leave the easier ones more or less the same, just make the harder, well, harder.

I.... actually like the idea and visual of this game's DT more than the old one. especially with it being Dante's true power, in the sense it's so huge it just creates this wave of impact/slowmo, and the change in the color pallete of everything around you, like you are this sort of demi-god going all out for once.
And the concept of "throwing the world around you into chaos" sounds and looks so badass.

I mean, gameplay wise, it should clearly be nerfed, but the concept works better in the scenario we have for this reboot than a alternative/true/demon form would.

And I believe we already have a topic for this.

I agree on all of your points excpet what would angel trigger be exactly i enjoyed eryx but i felt if he had grieves it could have been better i dont use many pause combos with eryx just the slam and showndown, also phineas was one of the best characters, i think it would be great if now that he is free he could help dante and be the mentor of the group.

Yeah i feel human should be easy devil hunter be nephilim etc.

I thought it was alright i enjoyed this one combo i saw where this guy just walked away with DT on while and when it ended the enemies fell to their deaths.

For the sequel,

I hope that the story turns more compelling. I liked the story for DmC and hope that they make it more innovative and interesting. Possibly with some twists and turns and endings that would make your jaw drop (in the good way :p)

Also. I like the relationship between Dante and Kat. I would like to see their relationship become more humorous yet sweet at the same time. Lets hope Capcom or NT doesn't turn to Nero and Kyrie's little mingle for ideas....

Alastor, Ifrit, True Devil Trigger, Angels and Nelo Angelo... Please no Nero
Yep, agreeing with that. Also doubly agreeing to no Nero. His first outing was like a clone of Dante. So a DmC2 Nero....I don't know. Seeing as this Dante is an ass, but a kind ass, I guess the new Nero would be like DmC Dante but even more swearing.
I mean, Nero had an attitude problem in DMC4, so I could predict a worse attitude problem for reboot Nero. >_<

I know the fans of old DMC don't like the swearing, but I would LOVE the F*ck you scene to return in DmC 2, but between Dante and Nero.

Well if there is one which I doubt
A lock on system

A taunt button

A better DT

Make characters seem less pu$$y and Dante not a god in that game

Make Sparda back into a legend

Being trish back into play

Well, on the Sparda front, he was apparentling one of the other Demon Kings according to the Chronicles Comic, so...the legend aspect could probably actually play up more in a sequel, he was just seen as a traitor by Mundus' forces

I don't know if this game will have a sequel due to low sales but anyway for the sequel

-I hope there will be enemies that can hit you mid air, one of the things that made this game easy is that most ground enemies can't reach you and the fact that it's easy to stay in the air in this game.

-When you jump you can only use Demon whip and Angel whip once, make the jump cancelling timing strict.

-Harder bosses, if you can parry the attacks of the bosses make it hard to do so, this simply made the Poison fight really easy.

Drekevak and the Dreamrunners did this, but yes, some more challenge to airborne combat as you get into higher end enemies

-When you jump you can only use Demon whip and Angel whip once, make the jump cancelling timing strict.

That makes Angel Lift practically useless if you can only whip once, since then platforming is harder to build around Ophion and makes JCing actually even harder to maintain, unless you allow for it to still reset after each JC.

-Harder bosses, if you can parry the attacks of the bosses make it hard to do so, this simply made the Poison fight really easy.

Lord, as broken as that fight was, it was sweet vengence when you learn the timing, and makes you feel like you seriously kicked the crap out of her.

All the boss fights was easy

Dante being god seems to be a (horrible) tradition in the DMC games. This was probably one of the few games where he felt the most balanced as a hero character, perhaps next to DMC3.

Make Sparda back into a legend

Honestly, Sparda in this version being a tragic figure I actually find more interesting. Wouldn't mind finding out about Eva's sacrifice and Sparda's last stand.

Well in the old devil may crys Dante gets stabbed with a sword all the time even has moments where he gets beat up at some bosses in this one Mundus was the only one who hurt him and all he was doing was digging his nails in him -_- everyone looked weak compared to Dante
