Angels in sequel

Will there be angels (and not just demons) in the sequel? Including the fallen ones?

Cause if there will be, there can be an arrogant and judgmental angel who thinks of Dante & Vergil as abominations and fears that they'll destroy both his kind and the demons.

Think of Lady back in DMC3, she judges Dante and thinks he's a full demon. That's different.

It would make sense. It seems like the angels were sad when Eva was killed. Im not sure why Dante haven't encounter any more.

We don't even know what the angels think of Nephilim. They might find it as abominable as the demons did. Of course, it seems that the female angels don't mind Dante at all. In fact, from what I can tell, there aren't really any male angels to be seen, aside from that awesome painting on the wall (although those were more androgenous).

It would be interesting to see if the angels have their own 'realm', like Limbo, and if they can descend easily into the real world.

No, we know NOTHING about the Angels in DmC's universe beyond that Eva was one. I really do hope a follow up does give more details on the Angelic faction, otherwise there was no damn point to changing Eva to be an Angel instead of a human

I would hope so, since the only angels we see in this game are Eva and human strippers dressed as angels.

As a fan of Supernatural tv series, I would be great if the angels are as badazz as they are in that series.

If angels appeared in the next game, maybe the archangels can be the villains temporary until the fallen angels & demons appear.

Plus... one of them can be Eva's brother or an angel who had a crush on Eva, who detests her children as nephilim. Dante would try to prove to the angels that there can be good that can come out from some nephilim unlike those from ancient times.

Hopefully they'll turn into good guys to assist Dante.

If angels are in the next game i think they'll be the "i dont care people". Where ever they are the probably dont care about whats happening in the world since it might not have affected them so they dont do anything about it and maybe a small faction of em try to rule since Mundus is gone.

Remember Azrael the angel of death? He appeared on Darksiders. Maybe he can appear to support Dante on the goings on with the angels' problems with him and Vergil being nephilim. He would also be a friend of Eva, Sparda and Phineas. Since Phineas knows of Sparda's & Eva's love for each other, so would the angel of death.

Would be a good idea, with the reference to Nephilim being able to go between both worlds freely. Im sure this was in regards to Limbo and the real world, but it would be cool to see Dante in Heaven with the amount of times he visits Hell in these games.

I'd love this idea in a sequel but have the Angels be the bad guys also. Given the fact Vergil has a blue amulet he could become Nelo Angelo but be a dark angel of sorts and have angel trigger. That or Dante just has angel trigger and Devil Trigger. I want DmC to bring fresh, new ideas to the table and this could be it.

As people have said: angels could be just as bad as the demons. Maybe they have the idea that humans are filthy sinners who should be left to kill each other.
We only know about Eva, so she could be the only angel we can perceive as 'nice'.

Even if the angels & the fallen angels will be the villains in the next game, there can be a female angel and Azrael to offer their help to Dante in helping him end this petty war between him and the angels. He'd try to prove that there can come good from a nephilim like Dante.
