Quite the nice find you have there. Kudos for catching this. Indeed it does reveal a few things however I find retailer based pre-order bonuses distasteful overall. It is by no means a deal breaker at all, however I certainly hope that it is only those two retailers. I also hope that the other "pre-order" bonus if indeed made into DLC, which I imagine it will be, is moderately priced at about a dollar or some such like that. Otherwise I'll truthfully find it to be too much for a simple aesthetic change and a few free upgrade points/extra red orbs. Unless they somehow would truly enhance the experience, which I find doubtful initially. I suppose we'll have to see.

ok this is what i get from the info given.

-dante has a shotgun :D
-you can upgrade weapons ala DMC2
-upgrade points? maybe something like blue souls from DMC4? or just a pre order bonus that subs for red orbs early in the game.
-also seems items like VSs are making a comeback since you can buy items.


the one thing i don't get is the samurai devastators
 
I see they are saving the inevitable Original Dante skin for DLC. Let's face it, as soon as we get the opportunity to play as original Dante rather than this poser, we are gonna take it.

So, would a bone version of rebellion look like the original? Is that why we don't get one?

On the subject of the actual material in the thread: Probably pre-ordering from Gamestop.

exactly, i know amazon is suppose to be really reliable but i find it sketchy. also i'm very impatient when it comes to ordering things online, when i pay money for something i want that something then and there. but a samurai weapon pack sounds pretty cool too :) i wonder if they are just weapon skins or what?

most likely just weapon skins since they both say for his scythe and axe. they don't add any other weapon nor mention anything else.
 
well i'm kinda glad the pre-order exclusives aren't actually weapons because then that would mean that you would have to pick what weapon you want for the game, and more than likely there would be weapon dlcs so people could have all the pre-order exclusive weapons.
