we all know it looks extremely identical to Vergil's DT..

but do you guys think this is just a pure coincidence, or do you guys think Capcom knew what they were doing when they made it look similar to Vergil's

or do you think it just happened to be coincidental when they were designing his DT, that it looked similar to Vergil's?

Extremely identical? Not really, it doesn't. The only strong resemblance is the sheath for Yamato and maybe the fact that the phantom is blue.

Body structure, head, chest, face are different.
