A pretty nteresting interview

ReRave

smug jerk

This actually clarifies a few things about Dante's personality and how Limbo and the real world interact.
This is one of those few intervies that actualy has some clear points.

This is actually a fairly old interview, around the time of Cptvt. It got trown in with all the others of like in.

@ReRave

If the staff didn't complain about this post, then it's fine. Feel free to post any thread you want. I'll take the youtube format over gametrailers' long loading times any day.

Anyway, it's nice to see their re-affirmation on the fact that they're doing their best to have no lag, and that it seems to be mostly Ninja Theory that actually developing the game, as opposed to the original theory that it was only Capcom who was developing the combat. It's also nice to see that Ninja Theory's more experimental aspects pay off like shifting world and the emphasis on vertical combat.

I had already seen that but I watched again just because Never Surrender caught my attention. Damn, that song is so good.

Isn't it though? I didn't like it at first, but combined with this trailer made just sound better for some reason. XD

I remember this being one of the better interviews that I saw. I loved how they brought up a really good point:

"He hates the demons, but he isn't there to moan and groan about it."

I was worried they were going to make him just as annoying as a hipster, XD...but it's just Dante...if he actually picked up a book...and a sense of humor...

and some wit.

*coughs*

Actually Original Dante had wit, and a sense of humor (and a heck of a lot of it in 3), and was seen reading a magazine (thats a kind of book) at the end of 4.

actually it did. The special ending revealed Dante reading a magazine.
Why is this guy saying otherwise then?

That was a nice interview, thanks for sharing. ^^
Tameem has indeed become alot more mild and more focused on the important stuff in the last couple of interviews and that's nice to see. He's growing with the job, obviously.

But what is this you guys are discussing now? Wether or not the original Dante could read or had wits? I'm actually not sure what the context is.

I can think of 3 characters that I've seen reading yet few have their intelligence put to question, why is Dante's?

It's clear, if you play the first game and check the objects around the castle and island, thathe isn't a clueless moron, he knows his sh!t.

A t 'n' a magazine isn't exactly required reading in literary circles, guys.
Ah, didn't even notice that people where flying that scene as a sign for Dante's intellect.

At least it proves original Dante isn't a dumbass :)
I was six when I learned reading. Was I not a dumbass at that age?

I always wondered: where does he know that sh!t from? Did he go to demon-hunting academy? All of those artefacts he finds are unique, so how the hell does he figure out how to use them?
