I hope not. I don't want them to just copy and paste old Dante into new Dante. I'd rather his hair stay the same length but just a dark grey and his coat a dark red. I'd rather him not dress as flaming or wierd as DMC3 and DMC4 Dante, and I'd rather him have good one liners, not the whole "This party's getttin' crazy" crap.>_<

Am I the only one who identifies this particular Dante with black hair, and doesn't want it to turn fully white/gray/anything along these lines? I suppose I am...

I just realized...Vergil's hair in DMC3 looks so weird to me. like he spiked it up instead.

Hahaha! xD I hope you noticed me saying "this particular Dante". Because, no way would I want the DMC Dantes have any other color in their hair than white. It's just that because DmC Dante was introduced to me with black short hair, and in an aesthetic way of creating up the character, the balance in shapes and color schemes are held up by the sharp lines and dark hue of the hair. It's an art thing, of course it doesn't strike out to everyone as obvious as it does to me.

I think NT are delivering the best Dante and Vergil, with this new serie, I mean Dante has new cool one liners (like: "Hey Bob ! Put some spit on this !"), has more carisma in some way (at least is not cheese like in old series), the hair fit perfectly in the atmosphere of the game, his chaotic, fearless and bada**. A perfect anti-hero (or hero). Vergil is a genius with a plan, his almost identical to the original one, just the clothes are change to a more westernize culture, I think he will be awesome.

I hope Ninja Theory don't change the appearence of the two (like hair or something), they should distance themself as possible from the old series and deliver us the greatest experience in a videogame and I'm sure they' re gonna success.

By decent, do you mean up to par with such great lines like, "Flock off feather face"?

Believe me, I feel the same way. New Dante kind of created his own image in the DMC universe. For that to change to white hair and a red coat would feel...off to me. As an artist too, I just can't picture this Dante with that same color scheme.:/
