So zeui what's the thread exactly about ??? about people making childish stupid nick names ? or just about discussing danteX is dante one way or the other ?

yeah its a theory which is true to a certain extent
one of them then yeah that's just one point of view that can't be said as bad or pointless New "DanteX"seems to have things from old dante so kinda in good or a bad way making him "inspired" and a part of him in logical reason

but its just human emotions ya know :p we don't like something we completely ignore it

I don't think he looks like Antoniades anymore. The Tamante/Domteem/Auntio look has been phased out quite a bit. I'm glad. It's definitely for the best.
 
Isn't dante bit old fashiond guys i thought this reboot was supposed to kickout all the old retro stff which made DMC awesome i think they need to westernize his name to "Dan" and they should keep the title's real meaning ambigious by simply showing only "DmC"

It's just you. When i made that name i got a assoscation with Immanuel Kant. "Cante" :D

I guess it's because of D.C Dante. That's where DMC Dante got his name, and in DmC trailer you see David Hume ( another ancient human). So i thought always "NT should have named this new character for David after David Hume".

So that explains why i thought of Immanuel Kant, because of David Hume.
