My former thread was locked due to the disrespect of the members on this forum. The disrespect for me and my thread, the disrespect for the rules of this forum and the disrespect of the warnings given from the moderators. Let's not repeat the incident and have a mature discussion about the topic this time, alright?

Here's my original top post:

"Okay, this thread is basically going to be about the many names people call this new Dante.
I have seen him been called Dino "Dante in name only" and Donte which derives from the word "don't" to show he isn't the original Dante. I can understand people giving him a sort of nickname in order to differentiate him from the original Dante, but I also find the nicknames very childish, usually because they are made by the angry fans who like to talk bad about the new Dante and the new Devil May Cry and usually in that context as well.

Personally, I just call them new Dante and original Dante, because that is basically what they are. Some say DmC Dante and DMC Dante which also clearly shows who is who. So why do others refuse to be immature and use terms like these instead of making up those childish nicknames?

Please try and keep the discussion civilized, I don't wish to start a flame war or anything like it, just a nice and healthy discussion. Thank you. :)"

 
I guess this forum is just really like that.I'm still new here and i'm not accustomed of people having a flame war in a forum because the other forums that i'm a member with is cool and we all get along.

Anyway,this is the internet and everybody can be immature.Heck,i can be a troll if i wanted to since this is the internet.If they refused to stop the nicknames then we can't do anything about that but honestly i don't even care.Even if someone called the old dante "gay" IDC of what he says to him because my point of view about the old dante will never change and to avoid this so called-flame war that happens in youtube everytime,i constantly ignore them.
 
Well, what should we call new Dante? I kinda like the sound of Dino, but I'm open to suggestions. He needs some identifying nametag. Blackie? Angel-boy? Puff-Puff? Rebo?

....I kinda suck at this.

I think I'm gonna call him Fluffy.
 
The rebooted dante looks kinda similar to izaya orihara from the anime durarara anyways.
so i'm just gonna call him izaya lolol
 
God, I hate Izaya so much.
Rebo sounds like a good name!
So do NuDante and NeoDante.
Actually, anything but Tamte. In my humble opinion, he stopped looking like Tameem half a year ago.
 
What about Ninja dante?

We'd need to come with something else for it to stand for though. "Dante in name only" is a little harsh, all things considered.

I suck at naming so I just accept and adopt the name which is "universally" accepted and sounds cool to me!

Anyway, I'm gonna give it a shot. Hmmm... how 'bout AngryJoe? Or PunkDante?

They are just telling jokes and giving their opinions.

Don't make it into a "OMG you guys are immature" type of thing.

Thats how Threads get derailed and eventually locked.


ONTOPIC

I have always just called Dmc Dante "New Dante" and the original just Dante.
