Or if you want the answer to who started the whole business with the meme to begin with, it started on the /v/ board of 4chan, about the same time of the first Grand Theft Auto 4 trailer release on YouTube, heavy traffic = No one could watch the trailer, so people on /v/ thought it'd be funny to link people to a supposedly "leaked" trailer, and it just sort of...Kicked off from there, and became the most annoying, overused meme in history.

4chan is indeed awesomely epic. I spend a lot of time on there when I'm bored between classes on campus. The tubes would be a very different place without all of the memes that came out of 4chan and similar sites.
