They'd kill their own hypetrain basically. Besides I cannot remember a games Developer that has announced 2 major franchise revivals in one week.

Kill their own hype? How? They're completely different games. I won't believe for a second that Megaman fans, after waiting so long, would stop talking about it just cause DMC5 gets announced. Sure the two fandoms do share some people but why would they stop being hyped for one of the two? If anything, they'd be hyped for both.

Certainly possible, still marketing 2 major franchise revivals is probably to much for Capcom since they seemingly have some money problems (unless Sony pays the bills on that for DMC5 like the leak stated).
Granted Hypetrain might have been the wrong word for that, it's more a marketing and development thing.

I'm not up to speed on what Capcom has in the pipeline for next year (SFV Arcade, Resident Evil Stuff? now Megaman, MvCI stuff, Monster Hunter I'm sure I'm missing some) but I feel like it'd put to much pressure on them at the moment.
And that's besides the fact that I'm still doubting the leak big time.

Well, Itsuno IS working on something rn, and that's a fact we all know. So I think the argument that they might have some funding problem doesn't really stand. Because that project is being worked on. Whether it is DMC5 or not we can't know but we can't say it's not cause of money problems.
