I've heard everyone say the first one has a better story, and the second one is funnier.

Lol, you probably didn't mean it like that, but "had better special effects" sounded like a massive backhanded compliment when I read that.

It had amazing CGI that was superior to the first, but it lacked a very good story and didn't live up to what the first movie brought to the table. Granted it DID have an excellent main villain (For once in an MCU film)
