I'm Canadian, too. 
I think I've been paying attention to American politics more than our own...mainly because everything about Trudeau and Wynne sets my blood to boil. And too true; if Trump gets in, I wouldn't doubt if his next move is to try and sever ties. Because, y'know...walls. :/ The man's an idiot. >.>

Uhhh I actually like Trudeau, not saying I agree with EVERYTHING he's done so far, but I at-least feel his intentions are good

Agreed, his intentions do seem to be genuine; he's just made some questionable calls of late. Trust me, I was all for him after the mess Harper made of things. I think he just needs to mull over his choices a bit longer before acting on them...and as far as finances go, maybe leave that to the more experienced. ^^; Wynne, however, I'm certain EVERYBODY hates...
