Yes and no. Get what you're saying, but while Wolverine can be savage, he's still a man. And is actually a highly trained hand-to-hand combatant. Heck in the comics, he's hailed as one of Marvel's greatest hand-to-hand combatants, equal to Captain America (who can match Batman in the crossover)
