Well, a forum isn't about being completely personal and open about your information. A picture of yourself for your profile is something you're more likely to put on Facebook, rather than a forum.

tho in the end it's basically the same thing we're having, especially in this forum, i feel like it's the same interactions as in socmed anyway, tho we're totally stranger to eachother here.. maybe this forum is an exception i dunno..

People are likely to be more private and not disclose certain information about themselves on sites like this, and others. You probably feel like our interactions are similar, but I don't think they are completely the same.
