"DmC had completed weapons and a finished world design -- even though the weapons weren't as 'mechanically deep' as DMC3 and 4 were." -the silver bullet- 7:00 minutes into rant
See... this is why I don't believe vash the gash when he "criticizes" DMC4. With 4, he constructively criticizes, with the dreaded reboot, he passively-aggressively destructively criticizes in such a way that you can't even tell he's doing it because he gives the former so much "flak."
The sheep just keep letting him pull the wool over their eyes, and it's pathetic...
Originally, I had written, "I just wanna see Guts put Dante in his place," but then changed it to Vergil because I hated him more.
Dante is insufferable, sure (especially in 3 and 4) but Vergil, who has even less char dev, is worshiped to oblivion and back -- it's sickening, I tell you.
I don't loathe Vergil, so much as his wasted potential as a character. He could've been infinitely-better than Dante if the writers had actually bestowed him with some believable motivation...which is precisely why the rebooted Vergil is the one I prefer.
He can go right ahead. He's Sony's problem now...it's THEIR money and resources he'll be squandering, and as usual, the blame will shift to everyone but him...just like it did with Konami.
