Tommy Wisau would actually improve the overall quality in MGS' voice acting...

As awful as this sounds, I'm glad that kojima was prevented from being awarded -- this is the one time I'm taking Konami's side when it comes to unfair treatment.

Sorry, but I gotta rant again --

I don't usually praise Konami -- but when I do...

... it's when they're f#cking Hideo Kojima out of his own award.

It's a really long rant this time around...

Can I just say how happy I am about this? I didn't think Konami acting like complete fools would bring me any joy, but then this happens.

Would I feel differently if it had been Igarashi instead of Kojima who was denied? A little, but I still would've cackled at the whole trollish attitude that Konami has over all this.

Also, Igarashi isn't a prick like Kojima is. I can't help it, that's just my take on all this. In this case, two wrongs really did make a right.

They made it so right this time around.

Never in all my wildest dreams, would I have imagined something like this. This is like the first episode of Black Mirror come to life -- sort of. XD

I only told you and Erian1 about this because I don't want or need the backlash.

Now, all I need to see is Kamiya getting screwed over somehow (maybe go bankrupt? lol) and I'll be set for life.

Don't even compare Igarashi to Kojima. Iga was a passionate gamer who made cult games with the intent of catering to fans, instead of making money. Kojima's not only a millionaire, former VP of Konami's board of directors, but literally has the money and free expense to GO to the award by plane---he just can't accept the award and bask in more undeserved praise, which is most likely the REAL reason he isn't going.

What... really?

Wow. Just when I thought I couldn't hate him any more than I already do.

Look, if it were me, I might find the whole thing awkward, but I would at least consider going by plane if I had the money to do so.

Not to play devil's advocate, but are you sure it wasn't because Konami's lawyers didn't issue some ironclad restraining order?
