and there's something about work in progress that makes you love it more than the final result, i'm thinking it's called fear --of something..

I've been there, trust me outlining things with a mouse is really not the way to go, depending on the program and tool of course. If you got Photoshop and the pen tool then it's not as tiring but to me it's not as fun as using an actual pencil.

lol yeah def. not the way to go, being an amateur pencil and paper is my thing, and going digital only for coloring.. but i'm learning and haven't got pen tool so gotta make do with it.. but dang the tiresome

I've gotten into modding recently and I can second. Editing textures with the brush tool is a pain. Screw that. LOL
