No way it fits the tone of the Xmen movies, man. Would look totally out of place and everyone would laugh in poor Logan's face.

Comic fans should realize that not everything that works in comics also works in movies.

Again, I disagree. I like the mask, you don't. It comes down to taste. Where did you come up with the assumption that comic book fans can't expect everything to fit well into the movies? I'm not a comic book fan, myself. I just like the mask.

Cuz they are 2 different media. You can't just porta stuff as it is and expect it to work or look fitting.

Granted, it also depends on the tone of the film.

In the first Xmen, they even make fun of their comic costume!

Nobody said you could though, so for what relevancy are you basing your point? I for one never said such a thing. I just said I liked the mask and I wasn't going to argue with you over it.

Also I'm of the opinion that if it originated from comics, there's no harm in trying to portray the character in the same manner for TV/Movies.
