I'm gonna have to renew my memory of anime, but off the top of my head I guess Kekkai Sensen would fit the description, though be vary of episode 11, as it's a flashback before ultimate finale (that is yet to come). Tbh, manga was filled with more action, but for whatever reason they let the studio insert amine-original content and cut out some of the juicy action-packed chapters.

Hmm, there is Black Cat, Cowboy Bebop you probably watched by now, Cobra, Yakushiji Ryoko no Kaiki Jikenbo... best bet is to go on an anime site, into action category and pick what you think it would suit you.

Is Cobra what Kung Fury made fun about, by any chance? Just curious.

I never watched Kung Fury. All I know is that Cobra is the guy Dante was based on and is a pretty good anime.
