From what I've seen, and from the bit I played at a friend's house, it isn't bad. It just isn't AMAZING either. And if you get it, you can get it new from Amazon for just 20 bucks.

I liked Sonic Adventure and SA2. I guess it just boils down to taste.

I haven't played those. I played Sonic Generations, Sonic Heroes, Shadow and Sonic Unleashed

Generations is good, Heroes is meh, Shadow is bad, Unleashed is okay. That's how I feel at least. Adventure and Adventure 2 were pretty good.
