I havent had much cash until recently due to wedding so havent really purchased any games for a while. Been playing older games and finally finishing them, getting ones on offer (State of Decay and DLC) and playing free games for gold games or games I already paid for before wedding (Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead).
If you are planning to play Deadpool, rent it or get a cheap brand-new or used copy, as the game can be finished quickly, averaging around 5-6 hours. You might want to get all of the Achievements in the game, as they are very easy to obtain if you know what you are doing and following a guide.
I have to pick my games carefully as dont have a lot of time either haha, working full time and managing forums can eat away at free time. Shall be building a new PC in next few months however so wont have to take as long to do everything like I do on my crappy laptop currently.
Havent nailed them down yet, in talks with Steve and 3 other friends who are PC gamers and have better more up to date knowledge than me (been out of PC gaming for 8/9 years). Going to be a top spec one though, but not going to go stupid with the budget and going to try to keep it reasonable but powerful.
I see. I would like to suggest a GeForce 730 graphics card and a Corsair RAM, as these are good yet affordable options for a good gaming PC. As for motherboard, I am not familiar it except get a motherboard supports high RAM and USB 3.0. Good luck in assembling your gaming PC.
I was looking at a GTX 780 or depending on price of rest of the components the GTX 780Ti as my wife gets a discount on parts (works for Amazon). Though suggestions are welcome and noted and I have been recommended Corsair a couple of times. Probably going to go for around 16Gb of RAM too. Thanks, its been some time so might have to give Steve a lift to my house to help at some point haha.
Think I will go for The Witcher 3 next year, repurchase Skyrim for mods, some of total war games I purchased in Steam sale but laptop wouldnt run and then just see which single player games I would rather go for on PC rather than XB1 as they are cheaper. Also want to support some indie titles like DayZ/The Forest and Rust.
Pretty normal, I guess. Had fun doing support job for a telecommunications company. Left another week of internship, then I will be jobless and waiting for my graduation. lol
Just be glad to be back into PC gaming & looking forward to building my system from scratch. Watching some video tutorials on fitting some of the more tricky parts on YouTube app on TV currently (laptop overheated & turned off on me as usual).
