Good, thanks. Just started my internship few weeks ago.

So how's life, and what have you been playing?

Life is good, can't complain. I have been alternating between State of Decay on 360 & ACIV & BF4 on Xbox One. Fiancée purchased TitanFall for me yesterday so installing that at the moment. Still have about 9 other games on 360 to finish yet though. How about you?

I see. I enjoy ACIV a lot compared to ACIII, although I am disappointed with the present time gameplay and story.

Been playing my PS Vita games recently, like Muramasa Rebirth, Dokuro, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Ys: Memories of Celceta, and Toukiden.

Are you planning to get FFX|X-2 HD?

I really like ACIV & much prefer it to ACIII but yeah it's modern day isn't as interesting as Desmonds story. I was considering it as FFX was last Final Fantasy I enjoyed.

I hope the next AC game can take the genre further with more brand new gameplay features. I would personally prefer an AC game in the present, because I would like to see a conclusion to Juno's reign as soon as possible.

Since you got Titanfall, does that mean that you bought Xbox One? How is the console if you do have it?

The mechanics & systems are the best & most complete out of all the Assassins Creed games so far. So they can expand on that at least so I'm happy with that. Don't think they will do modern day anytime soon as far too many eras they want to explore first.

I was hoping FFX HD would eventually come to PC as I don't own a PS3.

Yeah I have an Xbox One, my fiancée got it for me for Christmas & I really like it. With all the negativity surrounding its announcement I was worried but it's a solid console. With monthly updates & features being patched in & voted on I'm very happy with it so far.

There are few settings that I would like to see, such as in China era, Egyptian era, and others. Exploring the First Civilisation era would nice as well.

What games you have got on Xbox One so far?

Yeah there are a decent amount of eras that could make for a great game. I was sceptical about pirate setting but it works really well.

I have BF4, TitanFall, Ryse & ACIV currently, only had it for 3 months though.

I see. How's Ryse? How much does ACIV look better than the XBox 360 version graphically?

Ryse is actually better than I was expecting, it's a little short & could have done with more varied enemy models but overall it's a decent game. Felt like playing an episode of Spartacus but as the Romans.

I haven't seen the comparisons side by side but I've heard the models are sharper & more detailed lighting is better & overall the presentation is more detailed.

I would imagine load times are shorter too but that's just me speculating.

I see. Is it relying heavily on QTEs?

I am considering getting the PS4 version once I have bought it end of this year, but I am still deciding since the PS3 version already looks great and I should buy other exclusives at first. However, not many PS4 exclusives that interest me at the moment except Killzone: Shadow Fall and The Order: 1886.

Are you planning to get Watch Dogs?

The QTE's aren't nearly as big of an issue as I expected. Every execution uses them but they are varied & disguised. You don't get button prompts the enemy glows a particular shade depending on what button to hit to get a perfect execution. Not nearly as intrusive as I thought they would be & I hate QTE's.

I will likely be getting Watch Dogs if end product ends up decent yeah.

I am worried with the recent trailer, since there is a noticeable downgrade in graphics quality since the first game demo.

Any other games that you are interested to get this year?

Its necessary sometimes for resource balance as you have likely seen with Dark Souls 2 as that did the very same thing. Just not possible sometimes to keep the GFX fidelity up for the whole game when its running so many particle and physics animations at once along with everything else thats going on.

Im interested in Destiny, The Evil Within, Dragon Age Inquisition, New Halo (likely this year), The Division and a handful of others. Most havent actually had release dates announced yet, shame The Witcher 3 dropped to next year.

True, though I wish From Software would mention this sooner before releasing the game. Still, I enjoy Dark Souls 2 a lot.

I see. I would most definitely get The Evil Within, but I am not too sure on getting Destiny. I am more of a third person shooter fan than first person shooter, but I can tolerate some first person shooter games like BioShock Infinite if they are unique enough compared to other FPS games.

I'm really excited to see what these shared world/MMO style shooters can do & also intrigued by the survival genre and where that is going.

I enjoy both FPS & 3rd person games & plenty of exciting games coming & new engines. The Ubisoft Snowdrop engine looks stunning I have to say.
