bravely default gets remastered for the Switch.
Duskbloods definitely looks cool. But I won't be getting a Switch 2, so, oh well.
This DOES make me a bit more motivated to finish Bravely Default and Bravely Second. I got a handful of hours into Bravely Default just a couple years ago before just losing desire to play handheld. But it is a really good game and I'd like to clear some of my 3DS backlog.

Come on sony, focus on new i.p in house more, rather than remastering games left and right and partnering for 3rd party deals. So much potential in the i.p lineup is being wasted.

This isn't really news. More like hearsay.
It's kind of funny how Dusk Golem went around promoting RE0 and CV, then this pops up. I guess the voice actors can only provide a subtle explanation to avoid breaching some agreement.
They're always gonna milk the series, so anybody worried about remakes being cancelled needn't get excited, because they've been going back to 1998 every few years, for the longest time, for not only games, but films and so on. So expect a Hong Kong based Wesker before you know it.
But I would prefer to play a new Revelations game. Anything but more of the same stuff about how an outbreak happened in, or near to Raccoon City.
